"Finally, we're here," Maya muttered as the car came to a stop in front of the school's massive gate. "We can get down here," she said, turning to Noah, who gently woke his sister from her slumber.
As they stepped out of the car, Noah's gaze fell upon the gates of STARLIGHT Academy. His eyes narrowed, and his voice dropped to a low tone.
"This..." he whispered, his eyes fixed on the gates, as if the very sight of them had transported him back to a painful past. The STARLIGHT Academy held the most horrible memories of his life – times he never wished to relive.
Noah thought he had escaped the nightmare of STARLIGHT Academy, but it seemed he was wrong. Maya had forced him back to this hellhole, and now he was stuck.
"Okay, then let's head in," Maya said, leading the trio into the academy. As they walked through the sprawling campus, all eyes turned to them. The group was a magnet for attention, with Maya and Lily drawing admiring glances from the students.
"Hmm, it seems Brother's charm is too irresistible!" Lily giggled, clinging to Noah's arm as she shot teasing looks at the female students who couldn't help but stare at him.
The whispers began to circulate among the students. "Hmm, is that a new student?"
"Yeah, I haven't seen him around."
"How come he's walking with two of the school's beauties?"
"He's insanely handsome too!"
Noah felt a strange sensation wash over him. He had never been the center of attention before, and the scrutiny made him uncomfortable. He wasn't used to being in the spotlight, and it was unnerving to have so many eyes on him.
Eva's eyes widened in surprise as she panted, catching her breath with each word. "H-how... Come you guys... Are so early?!" she questioned, her tone a mix of shock and accusation.
Maya raised an eyebrow, looking at Eva with a hint of amusement. "Hmm? I got to his house early, and lucky for me, they were ready to leave too...," she trailed off, her expression implying that Eva's question was somewhat silly.
Eva's face turned bright red as she pouted, stomping her foot in embarrassment. "Hmph!" she huffed, before turning and walking towards the school building, her head held high.
Noah chuckled and called out after her, "Hey Eva... Wait up!" The group followed behind her, amused by her childlike behavior.
As they walked through the hallway, Noah attempted to mediate the situation. "Hey Eva, she didn't mean it like that," he said, trying to placate her.
Eva's eyes remained closed, her expression still stern. "Hmph! I'll only accept that apology if we have ice cream after school," she declared, her voice firm but with a hint of playfulness.
As she spoke, Eva failed to notice the person approaching her from the opposite direction. She almost stumbled into them, but the other student quickly apologized and scurried away, avoiding a collision.
Noah was taken aback by Eva's near-miss, but he chose not to mention it, instead focusing on their earlier conversation. "Alright then, after school it is," he replied, and the trio continued on their way.
As they entered their classroom, the boisterous atmosphere was suddenly replaced with an eerie silence. All eyes were fixed on the trio, their faces filled with surprise.
The trio paused for a moment before making their way to their respective seats. Noah headed to his old seat at the back of the classroom, a place where he had endured immense torment in the past.
A blonde-haired teenager, with sleek hair and a menacing smile, stood up from his seat. "Hey newbie, that seat is reserved in respect for our FRIEND," he sneered, his eyes locked on Noah.
Noah, however, remained unfazed. He ignored the teenager's taunt and sat down, hanging his bag at the side of his seat. He knew exactly what would happen next, for he was all too familiar with this person.
Ben White, a tall and lean 15-year-old, sneered at Noah. "Hohoho, got guts, have you? Hope you don't regret it!" He taunted, winding up to throw a punch at the seated Noah.

As Ben's punch hurtled towards him, Noah effortlessly sidestepped it, leaving Ben and the other students stunned.
"Tsk, pure luck!" Ben shouted, his face reddening as he launched another punch at Noah.
This time, Noah was ready. He grasped Ben's fist, his grip firm but controlled. Ben's eyes widened in shock as he felt a chill run down his spine.
Noah's gaze locked onto Ben's, his eyes blazing with an unnerving intensity. Ben's mind went blank as he realized the gravity of his mistake.
'I fucked up!' he thought inwardly, his body trembling as he struggled to comprehend the situation. Ben was known as one of the stronger students in the class, but Noah had just effortlessly grabbed his arm, rendering his strength useless.
Noah's voice was low and menacing, his words dripping with intensity. "You... What the fuck do you want?!" His eyes gleamed with a predatory light, sending a shiver down the spines of the students. Even Eva and Maya were taken aback, having never seen Noah's expression turn so dark.
Ben, still trapped in Noah's grip, stuttered, "I-i... Ahh!" But before he could continue, Noah tightened his hold, causing Ben to cry out in pain.
"P-please, I'm sorry!" Ben pleaded, dropping to his knees as tears welled up in his eyes.
Noah's expression darkened further, his voice heavy with contempt. "You want me to forgive you after the torture you put me through? Oh, what a joke that must be!" The class was shocked into silence, with Eva and Maya exchanging worried glances.
Ben's terrified gaze locked onto Noah's, his voice trembling. "W-wait, N-noah?!"
