"Tsk, I can never get used to the lighting setting in the dungeon" A blonde-haired man clad in rough looking armor clicked his tounge as he gripped the hilt of his sword tightly feeling that beasts may pounce on him at any moment.
"Yeah me too, but I heard the lighting in a dungeon depends on what type of monsters inhabit the dungeon" Another male responded but his face couldn't be seen due to the helmet he wore on his head.
"Well I could always lighten up the surroundings" This time a lady commented as she raised her hands but stopped when she noticed their leader raise his arm up.
"If what Goliath said just now is true then I think we should not lighten up the environment because it may attract unwanted beasts" The Man at the front of the group clad in prestigious armor said as the others agreed.
"That's true!"
"Good thinking, Mark!"
"That's why you're the leader"
The three people praised the man at the front as they then continued their trek.
Throughout this long journey only the four at the front conversed while the remaining two at the back were extremely quiet.
One of the people at the back of the group was a purple haired lady armed with a staff, no one knew why she didn't speak but they didn't really care as long as she followed orders.
While the other person was a raven-haired teen with a nervous expression on his face, he was armed with a pair of daggers but he didn't really contribute much to the team rather he was being carried by them.
He was popular know as the 'Talentless worm' due to the fact that he couldn't awaken his talent just like every other human, because of this fact he was disrespected and treated as trash but he didn't care he always join a raid when he had the chance so that he could earn some money to take care of him and his sister.
"Hmm, isn't it weird that we haven't come across any beasts ever since we entered the dungeon?" Goliath asked as he firmly held his silver axe that was rested on his shoulder.
"It is suspicious... Maybe they are preparing for a sneak attack?" The lady with fiery red hair questioned but Mark their leader kept silent not sure of what to expect.
Suddenly the hunters paused a look of terror on each of their faces except the raven-haired boy who had a rather confused expression on his face.
'Why do I feel such a dense amount of demonic energy coming from the bosses room?!' Mark excalimed internally as a look of terror was played on his face.
"We need to get out of here immediately!" Mark yelled and the others agreed without complain even the raven-haired boy who was still confused about what was happening.
'Huh? Why is it heading directly at us with such speed?!' Mark thought as he began running as the others followed suite.
-Screech!
A screech emerged from behind them and they all increased in speed, 'Are you sure this guy is really talentless?' Eva the fiery red-haired girl thought as she stared at the raven-haired teen who was now in front of them.
"Ahhh!" Suddenly Goliath screamed as white silk material envoloped his and dragged him towards the unknown threat.
"Help me!" He yelled as the sound of his flesh being pierced echoed in the dungeon, further terrifying the group of hunters.
"The gate..." Mark and the others stopped in front of the entrance with grim expressions on their faces, "... it's locked" Mark stated as he turned around helplessly.
"We have no choice but to face the beast... Eva please lighten up the environment" Mark said as Eva nodded, suddenly red flames erupted from her hand giving light to the dark surroudings.
The group waited patiently for the threat to come and in just a few minutes a large entity made it's way towards them, the group felt their bodies shaking like crazy until the creature came into the light.
"What the hell! What is the A-rank spider of calamity doing in an E-rank dungeon?!" Mark yelled losing his composure for a second before rushing towards it.
Snapping out of her shock Eva suddenly sent balls of fire hurling towards the Gigantic spider taking it's attention away from Mark
-Woosh!
The balls of fire quickly extinguished upon making impact with the spider leaving no signs of injury, this made Eva click her toungue but she continued nevertheless using it as a distraction.
Mark who had gotten close enough to the spider gripped his sword tightly as a blue glow appeared on his sword which he then swinged towards the legs of the spider causing it to screech in pain.
Mark didn't stop there he continued slashing until he had cut down four of it's legs causing it to screech once more as it turned it attention to Mark.
Just then the legs that were cut off began healing at a rapid rate before it swinged on leave of it's legs towards Mark.
-Boom!
Mark was sent flying and crashed into a wall but after the dust settles he looked rather okay with a purple damaged transparent shield in his front, instead it was the purple haired lady that had blood dripping from her eyes, nose and mouth.
"Are you okay?" The raven-haired boy asked with care as he moved towards her helping her stand straight.
"..." She didn't speak rather she nodded her head staring at the large creature with a grim expression.
Just then it's eight eyes glowed red...
