Nirvana, having finished reading the document fully, closed the folder and turned to Martin. "What's the plan?" she asked quietly, her voice steady.
"We'll need to weigh our options carefully," Martin replied, his voice low and controlled. "But we're not pulling out. The sea regions are manageable, and the inland operations… well, they'll need a different kind of preparation."
He glanced toward Dom's group, who were still whispering among themselves, before turning his gaze back to the horizon. "Take the team back to camp. We'll discuss this in detail once we're away from prying eyes."
Nirvana nodded, and with a curt motion, she signaled the five subordinates to follow her. Martin stood for a moment longer, letting the weight of the decision sink in.
This next phase would determine much of Nocturnite's future, and as the stakes grew, so did the potential for unseen enemies.
