Martin raised an eyebrow. "It seems the hunters have finally come out of hiding."
The five figures didn't speak but spread out in a loose formation, clearly intending to probe Nocturnite's defenses. They were trying to gauge whether it was worth engaging them head-on or not.
"Orders?" Nirvana asked quietly, her voice sharp and focused.
Martin smiled beneath his mask. "Let's see what they're made of."
With that, he sent a distress signal to the scattered subordinates, urging them to abandon whatever they were doing and return.
Nirvana's team moved forward in unison, blending into the shadows of the jungle. Their movements were fluid, almost predatory, as they rushed their targets with deadly intent.
Perhaps, this team had already been spotted earlier on, but the bronze subordinates weren't strong enough to take on a team of five—at least not individually so.
