The bartender asked incredulously.
Jasmine looked at Delvin, expecting him to be the first one to pick a song of his choice or a movie if that was his thing. Delvin cutely grinned at Jasmine, clearly denying through his eyes, 'You decide Jazz.' Delvin finally made up his mind, while he beamed. Jasmine was a little surprised, but felt delighted to be the one to choose, 'Oh, wait, what did you call me?' Jasmine pressed on.
Delvin played a scenario of ignoring Jasmine.
'Aha, I didn't call you, I just gave you a hint about what to choose.' Delvin immediately dodged the confrontation.
Jasmine twitched both of her eyelids, before expressing a weird face, then relaxing, coming back to her normal self, putting away the obvious situation.
'Is that right?' Jasmine, investigated but with a giving up attitude.
Giving Delvin her spontaneous, brightly lit grin.
Delvin, momentarily becoming lost in that chanting spell, was only awakened by a sweet, graceful voice penetrating into his ear and through to the brain.
'Music please! Do you have any records from two hundred years ago?' Jasmine softly raised her voice and was full of expectation.
Annabel smiled happily, she probably knew she could maybe satisfy their desire, 'Yes, do you have a song in mind, particularly?' Annabel phrased her own question, still putting on a smiley face.
Jasmine, who also kept radiating a happy emotional vibe. You could see her face shining with discharging rays of light on her tender smooth skin. She loved music, and was very sensitive and selective about what she could listen to.
'Sure, could you put the song entitled, "The Secret of a happier life." And go bring us our wine?' Jasmine made up her mind and at the same time gave instructions.
Annabel dived into Jasmine's vibration, nodded her head, followed by her tender voice, 'Yes miss.' She was exhibiting a sense of happy satisfaction, expressing politeness and respect. Annabel selected the song on a small device like an iPod, called Transconnet. It worked like a remote and the music began to play at a cool, exhilarating standard set volume, leaving you with an outstanding sensation and warm experience you will never forget. The sound system drowning you in the beauty of the song, the feeling becoming alive within your bosom. She placed the small device on the table close to Delvin and Jasmine, 'Please feel free to change to the music of your choice if any need arises. I will right now go to fetch you your purchased selection of wine, have fun and enjoy yourselves.' Annabel said, and immediately left the room, with some satisfaction on her face, clearly proud of her well-delivered service.
Out in space on the red planet Mars, particularly in Combroidan city, the old man, the enemy of death, sat peacefully on his graceful throne in the Palace of Granadatorator, with his two chief advisers by his side. It's Bracandon, the ruler of the Red Planet, 'Dosanko, do we have interesting news of the boy?' Dosanko looked very cheerful and lively today. 'Yes sire, she has become of age.' Bracandon jolted, positioned himself in an upright position, before exclaiming, 'Wow, the Earth is going to gain an advantage on all of us, if they discover who she is.'
Dosanko cut in, 'I wouldn't rush to that. Sire, we have also observed something else. I will leave it to Jacoda to explain. Jacoda cleared his throat, 'Sire, we have observed some airships orbiting around the planet earth. We don't know how many there are, but we suspect they belong to the mighty Amatanganya.'
Bracandon furrows his brows in an expression indicating disapproval, displeasure. 'Damn, they are already attacking Earth this soon? That means we are likely to lose the girl. Oh, no, what a waste of such a special person. Have you warned our spies there?'
Jacoda became so agitated such that he was shivering and fidgeting at the same time. 'Sire, about that we cannot get through to them.' Bracandon glanced at Jacoda with his evil eyes that sent chills in the entire room, penetrating every living thing in the air to freeze. His horror affected every living thing in a hundred-meter range.
Delvin and Jasmine were still enjoying their date at Shalom Garden Park VIP room. When Delvin heard some rumbling noise outside, 'Did you hear that?' Delvin asked with a puzzled face with concern.
Jasmine was surprised by the sudden change of action and attitude in Delvin. She twisted her head in the direction of Delvin, 'Hear what?'
Jasmine flung back, her face instinctively cross examining. However, Delvin had the feeling and appearance of being troubled and nervous. Strangely, his hearing was actively amplified, there was no doubt in his mind, the sense of danger consumed him, his gut consistently bothering, convincing him that there was something wrong going on outside.
'Jasmine come with me outside now?' Delvin demanded, clearly serious.
Jasmine could not understand what he was fussing about, she could see a sudden transformation in Delvin. Honestly speaking, it scared her to her wits, sending chills through her entire spine, but what was even more than frightening was the cold horror he was emanating now, freezing her warm soft heart. Without many thoughts or reasoning further, she obediently agreed by nodding her head and followed him. In her heart she never wanted this wonderful moment to end, she desired to live like this forever. The instant they reached outside, they were stunned, there was chaos everywhere, people were scampering here and there with no direction, screams and shouting causing more confusion and desperation. Other people's eyes were faced and focused on the sky, with open mouths as if their jaws might drop and that caught Delvin's attention, who unhesitatingly looked up at the sky, with curiosity. To his surprise, there was fire coming down, falling from the sky and very fast. The fire had the shape of a meteor. In other words, the sky was about to rain with fire. Now Delvin understood the cause of the distress in people. The whole town was in deadly total chaos if the fireballs reached the ground, they knew they would not survive nor escape.
He glanced at Jasmine, who's jaw had dropped, her head faced up to the sky, her body frozen like a dead corpse, tears were already dripping, speeding and much faster like a Nile river offloading its water into the Mediterranean Sea or the Amazon River which originates in the Andes Mountains of Peru and travels through Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, and Brazil before emptying itself into the Atlantic Ocean. Anyway, that was a good enough sign that she did not have a cardiac arrest. Her cheeks had become pale pinkish mixed with grayish, her anxiety increasing exponentially at the speed of light. Delvin was aware that if this fire reached them there would be no escape for him or his beloved. With an immediate automatic reaction, he shouted, Skylark! The system instantaneously activated, Wings out? The wings came out and started flapping, in readiness for what was to follow. The next moment Jasmine found herself in the air flying, though at first she felt like she was floating. Delvin began flying even much faster, the wind whistled through Jasmine's ears. Upon realizing that she was flying, she opened her eyes and quickly closed them because the wind was too strong for her to see. Her breathing was also not normal, but who cared about that now? It was hell on earth, maybe the end for all humanity. She could feel Delvin's heartbeat, beating irrationally, for he held her so tightly, the fire drew so closer, almost hitting him from time to time, but Delvin kept dodging them one by one. Delvin could see the fire falling on buildings, and buildings being set on fire. People were in agony, others being burnt alive, screams were everywhere. Delvin focused his mind on his direction, and destination, which was Death Driven Valley. Last time he was training there he discovered a cave hideout. He definitely believed it was going to be his safe refugee. He was convinced that fire would not burn up the cave. Perhaps they might survive this doomsday.
