'Hold on Delvin, I might have the solution for both of us. There is a man in Olympia who used to give me contracts years back. Why don't we go and meet him tonight? He has many hotels; you are an electrical and electronics engineer. Without doubt, you have a good chance of getting a contract there?'
The new information stirred Delvin's mind. Instantly, he was energized and full of strength.
'Are you serious?'
George smiled, looking at Delvin like an idiot, 'You must know me by now, I would never lie to you. I also need a job badly. The man is good, he used to treat me like his own son.'
Delvin's interest was picked.
Do good men still exist on earth? Delvin thought questioningly.
His spirit was lifted. He soon forgot about the hunger and thirst he felt earlier. He made up his mind, 'George I am in, I am ready to do anything for money. Where can we find such a man?'
Delvin's eyes glowed, emitting rays of white light, and then water welled up. They were tears of joy mixed with luminosity. Georges' heart was now at ease and was filled with happiness seeing Delvin come back to life.
George proceeded to illustrate more details on the matter at hand, 'In Olympia, right behind Manda Hill Mall.'
The latter message was not well received, Delvin's energy level went down when he heard the name. Because Manda Hill Mall was a hundred miles away from his place, however, the desire for food was much stronger and more pressing. He had to give in, adding some extra days to his life was a necessity. Why should he let go? When there is a glimpse of Hope?
'Wow, It's very far, but I am determined to do whatever it takes to make money.'
Now Delvin had hope and love for life once more. George stood up while looking at Delvin with keen interest, lost himself in a thought, then a sense of urgency drew out as he started preparing to leave, 'I will come and pick you up at eighteen o'clock p m.'
Delvin's eyes lit up, and were full of gratitude. He made the right call to befriend George. He might save him like he did some years back. Delvin found George beaten to death, naked, and all his clothes robbed. He took him to his room, he was nursed, and took care of him until he was back on his feet. Moving two steps toward the door, George opened his mouth, 'I have to go. See you later.'
The being who was seated nodded his head.
Delvin's mood had twisted to a ninety-degree. His face, body, hands, legs, and feet experienced happiness and joy. A glimpse of hope sunk into his heart. It's like being granted a second life.
The planet Earth had a massive shift in peoples' lifestyles. New awareness kicked in. They could not work during the day. They changed to the night one, in order to preserve water in their bodies. During the day they stayed inside their homes and slept.
Delvin sat down, crossed his legs like a Buddah and started meditating as was his usual routine. This helped him expand his consciousness and awareness. It also renewed his strength and energy. In these hard times, he needs to keep his emotions stable. Hence, the need for meditation.
I need to focus on the eighth center. Before that, let me bless the fourth energy center. My heart.
He moved his consciousness to the heart, recognized it, the volume of space around the fourth center. He then moved his consciousness within his chest and back to the fourth center. He did this routine five times until he could feel the heat inside the fourth center. The center began radiating more energy.
This is it. This is the vibration of love at work. My heart, soul, mind and body are unified with the universe.
Thereafter, he switched to eighth center. He pressed his consciousness on the eighth center. Moving it around that volume, his body started vibrating, there was too much energy erupting from within, his lips, mouth shivering, and his teeth grinding each other. He repeated the process three times.
And on the third count his consciousness merged with another conscious.
A voice sounded in his consciousness with a low gentle frequency, 'Hello! Welcome to the Eternal Space.'
The strange consciousness echoed within his own. Delvin was surprised and amazed at the same instant. Did not know whether to respond or not. He just stared at the vast dark space in front of him with curiosity and waited for what was to unfold next.
The strange consciousness resumed, 'My name is Acrymonta and you must be Delvin Dred?'
This hit Delvin with another puzzlement.
How do you know my name?
'I have been watching, waiting for you to contact me through your meditation, you just did that. I have been looking for someone with this kind of energy for the past one thousand and two hundred years, but so far I have had no lack, until I saw you a few months ago meditating.'
The surprise turned into confusion, he questioned now with a bit of inquisitiveness. Still maintaining his assertive tonality.
Why wait for me to contact you?
Acrymonta ignored Delvin. He proceeded, 'I, too, come from Earth. I know the current state it is in. I would like to help. You can't stay here too much longer. I will unlock the gift inside you.'
With a loud smack, Acrymonta dispersed from Delvin's consciousness.
Delvin yelled, 'Wait?'
He was nowhere to be seen, just the void dark space visible. His consciousness suddenly returned to the brain and body. Instantly, a mass of information started downloading to his brain and body. He was motionless for about five more minutes. The frequency was unthinkable, speedy and intense. Finally, the information ceased.
Delvin opened his eyes and his body was exhausted. He got up from the floor, went to his bed, and straight away slept. He was awakened by a familiar knock on the door. He automatically knew who it was. With a drowsy, weak voice, 'Come in.' Immediately, the door was pushed and it gave a squeaking sound as usual. George entered wearing a good mood, his confident self.
He looked at the sleepy face of Delvin, who was still in bed, 'Get up Delvin, it's time to go?'
Delvin glanced at George with sleepy eyes. He remembered their agreement, without taking much time, he pulled himself off the bed. Dry-cleaned his clothes, combed his hair. Geared up his shoes.
Within two minutes, he was all set. 'George, let's go dear.'
George looked at his friend in amazement. He was impressed by his quick response. His eyes still on him, he smiled, 'Sure.'
Both Delvin and George slipped out of the house. They were now on their way, when a rousing voice shouted, 'Delvin you loser, why aren't you dead yet, you are just consuming up the last Earth's water and food. Where did you come from? I can't wait to celebrate your death, spit on your stupid stinking body. Ha ha! Brainless filth, idiot and a bastard?'
He chuckled hysterically. It was Peter from third floor room four. George put Delvin's temper at ease, 'Don't mind him Delvin, let's keep up the pace, we have a long distance to cover.'
