Chapter 33 - Are You Crazy

General Martins felt a bit fixed, 'No sir, quite to the contrary. He had just recently been hired at ZamCorp Base One, when I discovered his extraordinary talent, I thought of finding out more about his past which traces to you. Therefore, I am doing all this because I am fascinated by his brilliance.'

The old veteran relaxed, upon hearing that, amazed at the news that he had just received. 'Is that right? I always knew that he was special. He is family, that is all I can tell you. You don't need to have the same name to be a family. Just take good care of him and don't take advantage of him. If there is nothing else you need from me, I have to go.'

General Martins quickly jumped in before the call could cut, 'No, no sir, thank you very much for your time and service.' Right away the line dropped, that was Fabrice Targan's character anyway.

General Martins laughed after the call was cut, he then murmured to himself, 'The veteran is so strange, I doubt if he will ever change.' He muttered to himself and found the whole scenario a bit unusual. He didn't believe the old man's words. If he was truly related to Delvin, his haunch disapproved, but what he found to be more difficult was that Delvin was the only person listed as a benefactor of Fabrice Targan.

Out in space, the airships lined up surrounding the entire planet Earth, it looked like they were waiting for something. These airships belonged to the mighty Amatanganya from the Zubie planet in the Milky Way Galaxy, led by King Agaganeeyaa and his trusted royal follower, Cantaniaa, an undefeated war person with cognitive disabilities yet a war strategist.

Back on Earth, it was Saturday, the big day for Delvin and Jasmine, who found themselves at Shalom Garden Inn having a romantic moment. The garden was made of plastic trees, but it still gave an atmosphere of real trees. Jasmine had never experienced the atmosphere of real trees, from the time she was born she had only seen them in books and old movies which were about two hundred to five hundred years old, but for Delvin it was a different story. He grew up with trees in Cambroidan City, outside of Earth, on the Red Planet, called Mars. Even if it was this way, Delvin never missed that land, for it was hell for him. However, the experience of this different atmosphere gave them a different sensation.

'I like this place, Delvin.' Jasmine said in a sweet, charming voice as Delvin and Jasmine sat on a bench. In the distance there was a flowing river as water splashed from sideways like it was going to fall on them, but it was made virtually. As they both gazed into the water, they saw different kinds of amphibians, water tortoises, sharks, whales, dolphins, and many more varieties of fish that Delvin and Jasmine knew and the ones they didn't know. After gazing at this interesting sight for long time, Delvin replied, 'I like it too. I can only imagine how our ancestors lived with all these beautiful creatures.' Spreading a dim grin.

She looked at him with admirable eyes. She loved the feeling of hanging out with Delvin, it made her experience a unique world. If she was dreaming, waking up wasn't among the options, she would choose.

'I like your smile, though sometimes you try to hide it. It speaks a thousand volumes, and it does draw me into you. It's the best gift you can ever give to a person, do you know that?' Jasmine smiled shyly after speaking out her thoughts loudly, but kept her eyes directly focused on him.

Delvin now openly beamed, 'Are your words true, Jasmine or, ?' Delvin shut his mouth.

Jasmine made wrinkles on her face, 'Or what?' She demanded as she giggled, before Delvin could speak she went on, 'You are cute when you look at me that way and how you pronounce my name.'

Delvin gazed intently into her eyes, engulfing her soul. 'You are good at chaffing a guy, so how many guys have you chaffed and fell for your tricks?' Delvin asked, in a teasing manner, her eyes widening.

'You are the first one, Delvin, and it's good that my charm is very effective on you. You, however, Mister, are very cunning. How many women have fallen for those engulfing beautiful eyes and that charming smile?' Jasmine threw back a teasing question.

Delvin laughed hysterically for a prolonged period.

'Honestly, I really don't know.' He paused to glance at her and observe her expression. She looked a bit puzzled, and then resumed, 'The last time I checked it was you and probably the last one, when I first saw you, I knew that you were the one for me. I made up my mind, declared to myself that I was going to do whatever it takes to marry you and I really meant it. I would go to the ends of the Earth if that is what it would take for me to marry you. If you like, deny me the opportunity? But you will never rest. I will keep coming and coming until you give in, into my charms.'

Jasmine blushed, her cheeks had turned pinkish, Delvin could see her natural skin glittering, for she didn't apply any makeup and that stole Delvin's heart. Her cheeks lightened up as they started making a peculiar shape which gave a shy grin, 'You are crazy, you know that?' Jasmine responded to Delvin's chaffing words, as her shy grin turned into a big smile.

Delvin was also taken by her smile as he replicated, 'You drive me more crazy.'

Jasmine laughed even more, tears forming a shade in her eyes while her face flushed reddish at the same instant.

'Enough, Delvin, you are killing me softly with your kindness and charming vibe.' Jasmine voiced with extreme joy.

Delvin gave a gentle smile. The energy slowly faded when Jasmine made a suggestion, 'Delvin, let's go to the bar?' Her eyes begged together with her facial expression. How could a man deny a woman such a request? When she knew how crafty or artfully get what she wanted. An awkward vocal sounded through the air, 'Sure, your majesty!' Delvin replied, his voice came with a masculine vibe. Jasmine giggled like a kid. The two walked to the bar.

Inside the bar, there were about five couples, most of them were quite old and well-dressed, portraying the attribute of being wealthy. There was music playing in the background, all the couples turned to see who it was. They all turned to see who was entering the door, their faces put on the picture of amazement, after seeing a young couple making a spectacular entrance. This was the most luxurious high-end bar, which accommodated only the rich and fabulous people who managed to drink from there. You could hear whispers in the background, an old lady in her seventy's, 'I bet five hundred coin honey that this young couple won't buy any drink from this bar.'

Another couple made their speculations, 'Today's youths are so impulsive, do they think this is a bar, you just walk in to impress a girl? This young man will eat up his fingers after he hears how much one bottle of wine, vodka or whiskey costs.'

Others fixed their eyes entirely on the young couple waiting to watch the show. it's obvious they are envious of this cute young couple.
