'Yes!' Shouted the crowd.
'How about spilling out some blood?' Asked Maragoya Makunda.
'Hell yes!' Yelled the crowd excitedly.
'Makunda! Makunda!' continued the crowd chanting.
'Wow! I love his dance, I can't get enough of him?' Liona commented.
'My gash look at his chest? I am crazy about him, I love him so dearly, and he never disappoints me!'
'He is definitely going to win this match.' Remarked Dayana Johnson enthusiastically.
'Shall I begin?' Maragoya Makunda asked the overwhelmed crazy crowd.
'Yes!' The crowd got even more crazy.
Maragoya Makunda drew out his two swords, attached them together, and they made a red explosion, and he rushed at Delvin with incredible speed, leaving dust behind him. When he was about twenty yards on reaching Delvin, he leaped up in the sky and twisted three times in the air as he thrust his two swords aimed at cutting off Delvin's throat.
'Wow!' Gasped the spectators.
Delvin ducked the two swords and Maragoya Makunda missed but managed to land on his two feet. Next, he switched weapons, drew out four small knifes and thrust them at Delvin at one go.
Delvin darted the first one and the second but was stabbed in the thigh by the third. The fourth one in the belly and the fifth in the chest.
'Howl!' Cried Delvin.
'Awesome!'
'Kill him!' Shouted one spectator filled with extreme thrill.
The Health bar for Delvin decreased to five percent.
Not good? Complained Delvin in his mind.
I must win this fight.
Maragoya Makunda launched six knives which stabbed Delvin at different locations. More blood spilled out like a fountain.
'Spectacular!' Acclaimed the crowd.
'I guess it's another loss for you, Morris?' Declared Nathaniel.
'I still believe Alvin the Trickster!' Morris hit back.
Maragoya Makunda celebrated as if he scored a goal in soccer. He swiftly moved forward, slashing Delvin everywhere with his two swords. The crowd were on their toes and electrified.
Delvin was on his knees, becoming powerless every second that passed by.
'Behead him!'
'Behead him!' The crowd suggested in unison.
'Any final words?' Asked Maragoya Makunda.
'I - -- will --- return --- for --- a ---- rematch.'
'I --- will ----- definitely----- avenge.' Whispered Delvin as he felt the pain get severe.
'You need a thousand years of training to be able to defeat me!' Disputed Maragoya Makunda.
He crossed the two swords on Delvin's neck, and cut off his head.
Delvin was teleported back to his brain.
'Wow! That was intense. It felt so real.'
'I hate losing!' muttered Delvin to himself.
Last night, after getting paid by Mister Parker, Delvin pushed himself to purchase a smartphone. The purpose was to get Jasmine's number and stay in touch with her.
Now he is at Lusaka Blue Hotel, George asks the security guard to call Mister Ben on their behalf. A few minutes later, Mister Ben came over. He was in a lively mood, full of joy as he stretched his hand for a handshake with Delvin, and right away saluted, 'How are you?'
Delvin stood up while his hand stretched to grab Mister Ben's hand. In a harmonious manner, Delvin replied while giving a well-polished smile, 'I am fine, and how are you?'
A still serene, calm atmosphere filled the air. Mister Ben uttered while still shaking hands, 'I am fine, and it's lovely to see you again, and thanks for what you did last night.'
Delvin happily gave back the same vibration, 'It's lovely to see you too, and you are welcome.'
Mister Ben shifted his eyes to George. As Delvin let go of the handshake, 'Hi George?'
Greeted Mister Ben, but not with the same enthusiasm he had displayed for Delvin. The two definitely had a sarcastic past, the spark between them was evident, Mister Ben remembered why George and Delvin had come. He needed to take them to Emasdale. However, George had already been there. How will this play out?
'Well, I will go and ask for transport for you from Miss Jasmine since Mister Parker is not around.'
George suddenly erupted with his sharp voice, cutting through the void moment, 'Yes, That's what we are here for!' Mister Ben stared at him with mischievous eyes, which implied I don't like you, so shut your stinking mouth. Then he turned and walked to the hotel entrance. Five minutes later, Mister Ben Devis came back.
'Jasmine will sort you out, you can now go into her office.'
Delvin's eyes observed Mister Ben's mood, which had abruptly shifted from lively to gloomy. There is no doubt he wasn't satisfied with the end results.
Did he want to escort us? George knows the place. On the positive side, I will now meet Jasmine. Great! Gather your courage, Delvin, and ask for her number. It shouldn't be difficult if you are as smart as you think? Delvin comforted himself.
George interrupted his trend of thought, 'Delvin let's go?'
Delvin came back to reality, he was grateful for Mister Ben's support, 'thank you so much.'
He expressed his gratitude. It did not help Mister Ben Devis's boiling emotions, but it relaxed him a bit. Delvin followed after George. They knocked at the door, and waited in anticipation.
'Come in?' Called out Jasmine after finishing setting up her hair and her body posture. She had been looking forward to meeting Delvin.
George walked in first, while Delvin followed right behind. She looked at George for one or two seconds and then set her eyes on Delvin.
'Hello George?' She came out first to break the awkwardness, giving a dim grin. George swallowed his saliva, 'Hello!'
Her eyes switched to Delvin very quickly, who also couldn't take his eyes from her. When the two eyes collided, both parties felt a strong sensation and connection. Jasmine felt she was being engulfed by Delvin's eyes, so she moved her eyes away from Delvin onto her laptop as her voice came out hastily, 'how are you Delvin?'
She was already blushing, her cheeks were turning reddish, Delvin put on his deadly smile that charmed people as he answered boldly, 'I am very well, Jasmine, and how are you?'
The name Jasmine was sweetly pronounced such that it brought chills over Jasmine. She gathered her strength, put in more effort and looked into Delvin's eyes frantically, with a beaming illuminated red face, 'I am fine.' In order to break the spell cast on her by Delvin, Jasmine gave the two creatures transport money and inquired, 'is there anything else you guys need?'
Great! I thought you would never ask. Delvin thought, cleared his throat, before making his desire plain, 'well, I am asking for your number in case we need anything from you after we are gone?'
Jasmine gave a genuine smile before answering. Her mind questioning. Why did it take you this long? See, it wasn't that hard. I want yours as well. But I won't get it now. I will wait for your call or text.
'Sure!' She came out with confidence which Delvin didn't expect.
Inside Grandma Beatrice's House.
Grandma Beatrice was comfortably seated on her maroon leather sofa, deep in thoughts. I must get into Delvin's good books. Marrying Brenda to Delvin is the only way to secure the future of this family. If the family has someone from ZamCorp, our family will be safe and strong. An early bird catches the early worm. I hope that Brenda can understand my intentions, and most importantly, we will never lack water and money.
After going through this trend of thought, grandma Beatrice called with the voice of a person in a hurry, 'Brenda?'
The moment Brenda heard grandma Beatrice's voice, she frowned.
Ah! Not again? Why now of all the things? I need a break and rest. Grandma Beatrice increased her volume with anger in her voice, 'Brenda?'
Finally, she answered in a lazy, rousing way. 'Granny, what is it? I am tired, and I need to rest. Please give me a break?'
That response made grandma even more furious. She shouted, 'Don't let me follow you there or call again?'
She was fuming, vibrating with rage and anger. Brenda automatically knew that grandma Beatrice was not in a good mood, and she did not want to upset her further. She dragged her body to the living room. She looked at grandma Beatrice with curious, sad eyes. Grandma Beatrice only made a gesture with her right hand that illustrated her coming close. Unwillingly, holding her left elbow with the right hand, dragging her legs on the ground and not knowing what fired the temper in grandma Beatrice, she walked right in front of Grandma Beatrice and stood before her waiting for the next instructions.
'Sit down next to me.'
