In his arms, he carried me upstairs, passing through two hallways until we reached what could be called "secret" doors. As he held me, I felt a strange mixture of safety and melancholy. Was what I was about to do the right thing?
In the end, I didn't care. Finally, I had a chance to break free from my former life, to distance myself from the lies and toxicity. I didn't care who this man was. I didn't care if he was dangerous. Let him do what he wanted to me; after all, I was already a shell—a shell humiliated, betrayed, degraded. I couldn't be brought any lower than I already was.
As he carried me, I was close to his neck. I liked the scent of him, a fresh, earthy smell, like rain after a long drought. It made me feel alive.
I pressed my lips closer to his neck, inhaling his scent. He stopped walking and turned to look at me with a seductive gaze.
"I haven't felt this kind of desire in a long time," he said softly.
Surprisingly, I felt an intense attraction toward him as well. It was like I didn't want to leave his arms. His cold hands were strangely comforting, and I felt warmth seep through them.
We entered the room—an enormous space, like a presidential suite. Holding me in his arms, he switched on the lights in the front of the room. The walls were painted deep red, the carpet red, and the curtains black. White columns separated the section with a bar from the space with the large bed. The bedding was black as well.
He laid me gently on the bed before turning to the window, bathed in moonlight. Slowly, he began to undress.
I started to undress too, but he stopped me and said he wanted me to wear a dress. Pulling a gown from the wardrobe, he approached me, gently lowering the straps of my bra.
He knelt down, spreading the gown out for me to step into it. As his head came near my hand, I stroked his hair, and he chuckled.
Once I was dressed, he stood back, watching me for a moment, bathed in the moonlight, wearing that indigo dress. It shimmered in the pale light.
"Cool colors suit you," he commented as his eyes roamed over me.
"Funny, I always wore warm colors, thinking they suited my complexion better," I joked.
"Right now, you're in such a state that the cooler shades fit your mood. Your face looks so sad and worn out," he said, gently brushing his hand against my cheek. "Surrender to me tonight, completely, and I promise to ease your suffering."
He kissed my hand and softly pulled me into his lap as he sat by the window.
"Relax, and show me that otherworldly neck of yours," he whispered, his fingers tracing its outline. I could feel his body heat rising. His skin, which had been cold until now, began to warm.
"Do you surrender to me completely?" he asked in a trembling voice.
"I told you, I'm yours tonight," I replied.
He exhaled deeply and kissed my lips. Then, he kissed my neck.
I felt something strange. His teeth were sinking into my skin, draining me. I felt weak, like my life was slipping away. But the desire didn't fade.
I pulled away, and he jumped back with a look of concern, asking,
"Did I hurt you?" His face twisted with regret, as though he was genuinely sorry.
"Now it's my turn," I said, pushing him onto the bed. A man of his size fell back like he'd been hit by a hurricane, not a mere woman.
We sank into a night of passion and lust.

At the break of dawn, I woke up in the same red room. The mysterious man was gone, leaving me alone with my conscience. What have I done?!
I held my head in my hands and began to sob.
"What have I become? No wonder everyone mocks me... How could I..."
I didn't want to recall what had happened last night. Quickly, I began to dress. That's when I noticed a note on the pillow. It read:
"Your blood intoxicated me. Wait for me here at dusk."
"My blood?"
"Was that real?"
I looked at myself in the mirror and saw the scars on my neck. This was madness.
"A vampire?!"
Shocked and disoriented, I accidentally swung my hand against a glass on the bar, shattering it. I cut myself, blood dripping, and I rushed out of the room in panic.
"I need to get out of here..."
