[Athena's Pov]
I froze still, my hands trembling. As if l didn't hear what she said, l asked her to repeat herself again.
"What_ did you say, mom?"
"Athena.. I'm sorry, okay. I should have told you earlier,"Mom's worried look gave me the chills. I felt like my intestines were twisting. I gazed at dad's gruesome corpse again and tried recalling all the events that happened ever since l changed into a damned werewolf, but no matter how l tried, l just couldn't remember when l attacked him. Mom is wrong. I didn't kill dad... l didn't do it.
My hands just couldn't stop shaking.
"Athena.. " She sighed. "Where do l start. You've always had a werewolf blood running through your veins,"she finally said, making me shiver.
"What nonsense are you talking about mom. We both know I've always hated werewolves since the day they killed my sister and friends. How could you say I've always been one of them. " I asked with a half yell.
