After promising to offer my life, the citizens finally agreed to postpone Athena's execution for at least 24 hrs. They locked her up on one of the hard-to-escape jail cells of the kingdom, where they chained her down and also used a sealing spell to stop her from transforming. The spell also constantly drained her mana to a minimum, so her chances of escaping or transforming were low.
As for me, my whole body was still painful. I can't believe she almost ripped me apart. If it weren't for my sister Victoria, I'd be a goner by now. I threw myself onto my bed lazily, and before l even realized it, l fell asleep and woke up in the land of dreams. It's been a long time since l came here. Just the moment l stepped in, l was welcomed by Mimi and other dream guardians who were looking rather rough and beat up.
"What's going on?".
"Master! I'm glad you survived. How's Athena?"
"She's okay. More importantly, how are you and where are you?"
