Chapter 215 - Was I Just Your Secret Lover?

His dry lips pressed against those moist, delicate ones.

At first, it was an incredibly restrained kiss, as if it were a desperate act of drinking poison to quench his thirst—a love so intense, surging uncontrollably from within his chest.

But when Soren didn't immediately pull away or reject the kiss, and instead widened his eyes and pressed his lips even harder against Clark's, he could no longer control the fervent, deep love that flooded him.

He kissed him deeply.

The kiss fell like a torrential downpour.

Clark pried open those half-closed, glistening white teeth with his tongue, and Soren's moist, cool tongue timidly intertwined with his, their breaths mingling in a lingering embrace.

The tip of Clark's tongue brushed against the roof of Soren's mouth, sending a shudder through his entire body.

Soren shrank in on himself, the tingling sensation spreading from the nape of his neck all the way to his toes, as if he were floating in a warm pool, a strange sensation of weightlessness overtaking him.

Every neuron in his brain was exploding; he couldn't think of anything else, lost in the dizzying kiss, held tightly in Clark's arms, even his fingertips tingling and going soft.

Clark's scorching palm, which had initially supported the back of Soren's head, gradually slid down to his back.

Soon, his strong, solid arms encircled Soren's waist and back, forcing him to tilt his head up, pinned against the door as the dizzying kisses continued.

In his blurred vision, all Soren could see were Clark's handsome, deeply etched brows and eyes, staring at him without blinking.

A soft, muffled groan escaped Soren's throat, a few quiet whimpers that made Clark's chest feel as though it would burst with satisfaction.

Clark held Soren close, guiding him toward the couch, where they both fell backward, Soren's face flushed, and his entire body floating as if in a haze.

The kiss continued.

Soren had never imagined a kiss could feel this overwhelming, as though he was entirely in Clark's grasp, his burning, steel-like body enveloping him, leaving him breathless.

Clark, trying to give Soren more space, bent one leg, but unexpectedly, the couch couldn't bear the weight of the two grown men and flipped backward completely.

He hurriedly lifted Soren back into his arms.

With the sudden change in position, Soren instinctively wrapped his legs around Clark's waist.

Clark effortlessly supported him, gently kissing his lips as he carried him like a kitten over to the edge of the small bed.

After laying Soren down by the headboard, Clark kissed him deeply once more.

Soren was left breathless from the kisses, his face flushed bright red, burning with heat, yet his body still craved more.

His hands clung to the muscles of Clark's broad back, instinctively pulling him closer as they continued to deepen the kiss.

Clark pinned Soren down on the bed, one hand resting beside the pillow while the other ran through Soren's hair, cupping his face.

He kissed Soren until his entire body went limp and soft, nearly running out of breath, nuzzling against Clark's arm like a kitten.

"Mmm… mmph, mm…" Soren, enveloped in Clark's embrace, let out soft, damp whimpers, causing Clark's heart to burn with warmth.

He kissed Soren tirelessly, repeatedly licking across his teeth, until Soren's tongue was nearly numb from the passionate affection.

Soren's eyes grew watery, as if he was on the verge of crying from how good it felt.

By the time Clark finally released him, Soren's lips were swollen and red, and he was panting heavily.

Clark gazed down at him, studying him over and over, his eyes filled with endless love.

The overwhelming joy of having found Soren again almost made Clark's head spin, leaving room for nothing else but his precious Soren.

With tenderness, Clark placed his palm against Soren's cheek, carefully tracing every line of his sweat-drenched face with his gaze.

This was his Soren—the star he had searched the universe for, the one he had recovered after countless restarts.

A precious diamond, his treasure, his redemption, his Soren.

Love is the hardest thing to hide in the world.

He loved Soren so much that he was willing to sacrifice everything to bring him back to Earth.

His long life had been consumed by the infinite cycles of time, to the point where his hair had turned white, his appearance had aged, and he had become like a sun burning into its twilight.

Soren, on the verge of tears, stared blankly at the silver-haired Superman in front of him, his Kryptonian blue eyes shimmering with unshed tears.

In an instant, Clark snapped back to reality, feeling as if he had been plunged into an icy abyss.

—What had he done?

How could he?

How could he have shamelessly kissed Soren, someone he had hurt time and time again?

Worse yet, this Soren didn't even remember who he was…

Guilt crashed over him like a tidal wave, so strong that he wanted to lash out at himself.

Hurriedly, he supported Soren, his voice thick with pain and regret as he said, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I'm a jerk. I shouldn't have—"

"…Clark." Soren interrupted.

He spoke his name, and that familiar sound made Clark's very soul tremble.

Soren rested his head on the pillow, turning to look at him as he said in a daze, "Clark. So you're Clark."

…The name that always came to him in the depths of his dreams.

—And that name was often accompanied by another word: mine.

My Clark.

This is my Clark.

He repeated silently to himself, over and over, and with each repetition, it rolled off his tongue more naturally.

This is my Clark, he thought.

The more he said it in his mind, the more certain he became.

This was his Clark, no one else's.

No matter what he looked like, no matter how he changed, Clark would always be his.

"…Clark," Soren sighed softly from deep in his throat.

He reached out and pulled the rigid Superman toward him, bravely and firmly resting his chin on Clark's shoulder. "So, were we lovers before? Is that why you lied about not knowing me? Did we break up? Or was I just your secret lover?"
