Chapter 1 - Crimson Fury Over Egypt

Africa, Egypt.

Two crimson heat rays shot out from the eyes of a superhuman who is draped in the stars and stripes uniform.

In just a millisecond, the Sphinx, which had stood for thousands of years, was cut open by the intense heat.

The head of the Pharaoh's bust was completely severed from its neck, and the massive stone head began to fall, ready to crush the crowd that hadn't yet been evacuated!

A white figure flew in at lightning speed.

Amidst the flying sand and dust, it caught the falling statue with its body, lifting it with both arms.

The force of the impact drove his arms deep into the stone head with a thunderous crash.

Angemon's six radiant white wings spread out fully, catching the falling debris that kept rolling off due to the shockwave.

Soren gritted his teeth while holding up the statue's head.

He glanced down and saw his teammate was crawling out of the shattered rubble while clutching his injured arm.

He reaching out his hand toward his leg and pulled out another scorpion-style handgun from his suit's belt.

Several modified bullets were fired toward the already enraged Homelander floating above the Sphinx.

Soren sucked in a sharp breath.

This was bad.

Judging by the situation, his rash teammate was about to get pummeled again.

How would he explain this to his teammate's father once they got back?

They had been tailing Homelander for months, and finally, in Egypt, they caught him in the act of massacring innocents.

Before they left, Jason's dark and grim father had personally warned Soren to be careful, reminding them to do their best but not to be reckless.

But now, in this emergency, there was no time to think about anything else.

At this point, defeating Homelander was the only way to give everyone here a chance to survive!

"Jason, watch out!"

Soren shouted a warning to his teammate.

Then, with all his strength, he lifted the statue's head, flapped his wings, and charged toward Homelander in the sky, hurling the statue's head right at his face!

At the same time, Spider-Man, who had just been knocked into the pyramid, swung back into action.

With his fist, carrying the power of 20 tons, he punched at Homelander's face while shouting at Soren, "Soren, are you okay? Oh my god, how could you catch such a huge statue?! Tony and Cap are gonna kill me! You guys in The Outlaws don't have enough combat experience—go help the people below! The Avengers can handle this mutant!"

In the chaos of battle, everything changed in an instant.

A few seconds ago, Homelander had the upper hand, but now he was under attack from all sides.

Just as he reached out to crush the giant statue that Soren had thrown, Spider-Man's fist was already inches from his ear.

His golden hair whipped wildly through the air from the high-speed impact.

However, to someone with super speed like Homelander, it all looked like slow-motion!

His eyes glowed red as he turned his head, driving his elbow into Spider-Man's stomach.

At the same time, two scorching heat rays shot straight for Spider-Man's face.

But the upgraded sixteenth-generation spider suit, modified by Iron Man, reacted instantly.

Before the heat rays could reach Spider-Man, a nano shield deployed, blocking the attack.

Spider-Man's white mask eyes narrowed sharply as he flipped backward to dodge the heat rays.

Even while avoiding the attack, he kept rambling at Soren at high speed, "Whoa, he has heat vision too?! That's amazing! It's just like that other guy—except his heat is like 3,000 degrees cooler! Soren, be careful! Don't get hurt! I've already called Dr. Banner, they're on their way!"

Soren was on the verge of losing his mind from Spider-Man's nonstop chatter.

He didn't have the focus to keep up with what he was saying.

Gripping his golden staff, he spun it rapidly, the whistling wind from the swings slicing through the air like a blade as he launched an attack at Homelander from behind.

"He's trying to attack the tourists! We have to stop him!"

But Homelander, as if he had eyes in the back of his head, turned his heat vision toward Soren even faster than Soren could move!

All Soren saw was a flash of ominous red light.

"Watch out!"

Spider-Man immediately leaped in front of Soren, using his shield to block the heat vision.

Then, with a flick of his wrist, he fired a giant web from his web-shooter, wrapping Homelander from head to toe.

Soren nearly got knocked over by the sudden collision with Spider-Man.

Flapping his six wings, he grabbed Spider-Man as Homelander started to break free from the web.

"Your web won't hold him for long—his super strength is just as strong as ours!"

"I know, I know, I know, but Dr. Banner and the others are almost here! Don't worry about me! Go find a safe place and don't get hurt!" Spider-Man said quickly.

He tightened his grip and shot more webs from his web-shooters, wrapping Homelander even tighter.

Homelander let out a roar, his heat vision now as thick as a beam of light.

The destructive red rays even sliced off the top of a nearby pyramid.

Soren, feeling tense, flew out of the shield's protection and swooped toward the ground.

Using his broad wings, he shielded the innocent people below and shouted to Red Hood, who was helping evacuate civilians, "Jason, get them as far away as possible, the farther the better!"

He glanced nervously back at the battle in the sky between Spider-Man and Homelander.

Even though Spider-Man could momentarily hold Homelander down with his webs, there was no way to stop those deadly heat rays.

Before more backup arrived, this madman could destroy the entire area!

Red Hood looked back and shouted, "Are you seriously telling me to run away without you, bird boy?!"

"I swear I'm not!" Soren quickly defended himself.

Before he could finish speaking, a massive stone, several meters wide, came crashing down from above.
