Alastor surged forward, a blur of motion against the swarm of beasts. Blood sprayed across the chamber floor as his dagger sliced through flesh and bone. With incredible speed, he danced through the throng, leaving a trail of corpses in his wake. Each flash of movement was punctuated by the thud of falling bodies.
Despite Alastor's relentless assault, the beasts continued to pour from the opening in the chamber wall, a mix of one-star and two-star creatures. Although their numbers were overwhelming, they proved to be no match for Alastor's deadly efficiency. He dispatched them with ease, his movements a whirlwind of controlled violence.
After what seemed like an eternity, the chamber wall began to grind shut, stemming the tide of monsters. The number of beasts, finally, began to dwindle. Alastor, his face impassive, continued the massacre, his movements precise and lethal. He fought until the last beast lay still, the chamber floor awash in gore.
