The group trekked for a while before encountering another cluster of beasts. They dispatched them swiftly; it was no significant challenge, just a mix of one-star and two-star creatures.
"This is getting boring," Kayla muttered with a light chuckle. "I wonder when we'll face a real challenge. I'd like to see big sister in action."
Alastor found her use of "big sister" peculiar. It sounded as if there were years between them, but they were twins.
"Hmm, be careful what you wish for," Arthur murmured, the memory of their first raid flashing vividly in his mind.
"Psh, what's there to be scared of? We have big sister here, and…" she lowered her voice to a near whisper, "we have Alastor too."
"Hmmm," Arthur mumbled, his gaze shifting involuntarily towards Alastor. Kayla's words resonated with him. Since the hunt began, Katherine and Alastor were the only ones who hadn't been pushed to their limits. In fact, it seemed almost…casual for them.
