"Damn!" Alastor swore as the ground beneath him violently shuddered. He knew what was coming.
He was sprinting at over 200 meters per second, so the tremor sent vibrations through his body, throwing him off balance. At that very instant, the earth erupted beneath him. A colossal Ferrosaurus burst forth in a geyser of magma, launching Alastor high into the air.
He hung suspended for a moment before gravity reclaimed him. As he plummeted back towards the ground, a chilling sight met his eyes. The Ferrosaurus, the behemoth that had just ejected him from the earth, now waited below, its massive jaws agape, ready to swallow him whole.
A shiver crawled down Alastor's spine as he continued his descent towards the gaping maw. Mere moments from becoming a Ferrosaurus snack, he felt a sudden tug, a pulling sensation, and then, in a blink, he vanished.
The Ferrosaurus roared in frustration, its meal snatched away at the last second. Its rage was palpable.
