The Guardian elaborated that the Arcanum System granted its chosen Arcanists unique powers and quests. Each Arcanist's actions would influence the balance of magic across the realms. Kael's first task was to investigate disturbances in the Forsaken Marshlands, a region once teeming with magical life but now shrouded in darkness and corruption.
A status screen materialized before Kael, detailing his new abilities and the objectives of his first quest.
"You will find the Forsaken Marshlands to the south of Eldoria. Follow the System's guidance to complete your tasks. Your success will strengthen your abilities. Failure will contribute to the encroaching darkness," the Guardian warned.
