In Dormitory Room 202, four girls were chatting around the small space.
Na Zi checked her watch and remarked, "Hu Tuan'er and Rice Noodles sure are taking their time."
Ruoruo giggled, her voice playful. "They must be starving! Probably on their third bowl by now."
Orange chimed in with a grin, "Well, if they end up joining the team, it'll be worth the wait. Their strength would give us a major boost."
Mina added thoughtfully, "They'll definitely make it onto the floating island. The question is whether they'll join us or focus on farming."
Ruoruo scoffed, "It'd be a waste for such pretty faces to spend their days farming."
Mina smiled slyly. "Even if they join, Rice Noodles knows her way around plants. She'll still have to help out."
Ruoruo nodded in agreement. "That's true."
A knock on the door interrupted them.
Na Zi stood up. "They're here."
She opened the door to reveal Hu Tuan'er and Rice Noodles, both smiling brightly.
Hu Tuan'er greeted them politely, "Hello, sisters."
Rice Noodles followed suit, "Hello Mina, Na Zi, Orange, Ruoruo."
Mina asked with a smile, "How was the food?"
Hu Tuan'er nodded, eyes gleaming. "Delicious! Fragrant and perfect."
Rice Noodles grinned, "Honestly, I've never had anything that good, not even before the apocalypse. The chef's skills are out of this world!"
Mina leaned forward slightly. "Would you like to eat like that more often?"
Both Hu Tuan'er and Rice Noodles lit up. "Yes!" they answered in unison, their excitement undeniable.
Mina glanced at Na Zi, who quickly caught the cue. "Xianxian, come with me. Mina needs to talk to Hu Tuan'er alone for a bit."
Rice Noodles blinked but agreed quickly, "Okay!"
As Na Zi led Rice Noodles out of the room and down the hall, the remaining girls prepared for the conversation.
Inside Room 202, Hu Tuan'er shifted nervously, sensing what was coming. Mina shot a look at Ruoruo, signaling her to get her phone ready to record.
Mina's eyes gleamed red with a hypnotic charm, and within moments, Hu Tuan'er was under her spell.
"Hu Tuan'er," Mina began smoothly, "how many relationships have you been in?"
Hu Tuan'er responded immediately, her voice calm, "I've never been in a relationship."
Mina raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Why not?"
Hu Tuan'er sighed. "In high school, a boy asked me out to the movies, but he stood me up. Later, I found out he was playing with a lot of girls, a real player. He got beaten up by one of the girls' brothers that same day."
She paused, her expression softening. "It scared me. After that, I became very cautious. When I came to college, I had a crush on a guy, but I never said anything. Then, as an anchor, I learned to never fall for fans. So, I've stayed single."
Mina, Ruoruo, and Orange exchanged satisfied glances. The answers were exactly what they wanted to hear.
Mina continued, "Have you ever done something that went against your values?"
Hu Tuan'er thought for a moment before confessing, "When I was little, I used to sneak into my neighbor's yard to steal longans. They were so big and delicious. One day, I got caught."
She laughed lightly. "The neighbor didn't hit me, though. He just told me to ask next time, and to be careful not to fall from the tree."
Ruoruo snickered, covering her mouth, surprised that Hu Tuan'er's worst act was so innocent.
Mina smiled, pressing on. "Tell us a secret from your heart."
Hu Tuan'er blushed slightly. "I have a crush on someone... his name is Yuto Saito. He's incredibly handsome, and I've liked him for a long time."
At this, Mina, Orange, and Ruoruo exchanged astonished looks. Yuto Saito? The coincidence was too wild.
But as they thought about it, it made sense. Yuto Saito was tall, handsome, with a perfect physique—a dream guy for many girls.
This was definitely getting interesting.
