An Nuan shifted her gaze to the television. There was news about natural disasters in the north. However, she was not paying attention to it. An Nuan silently observed her mother while thinking of something that her mother might have said earlier.
She seemed to realize that her family members had never really liked Pei Zhi Yi.
They were relieved to know that she was not marrying Pei Zhi Yi.
The thought almost made An Nuan laugh. "Mom, you don't like Pei Zhi Yi that much. I heard Elder Brother say that you should be thanking Pei Zhi Yi for leaving me on my wedding day."
