After two weeks, training ended with either a pass or fail. As expected from Henry, he passed with flying colors. Yuqin also passed including another lifeguard. Even though a few others did not pass, they did learn a lot nevertheless. Lu Cheng handed out more information about the new position and he'll wait for their response.
"Are you planning to apply?" Yuqin asked Henry.
"I'm not too sure. I'll need to ask my wife." He replied and looked at her.
"Are you?" He asked and Yuqin shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know. I mean, I still love working here. But..."
"But what?"
"I'm worried about Han Rong. If I apply for any of the positions, we'll be separated for a while." She replied while folded up the papers.
"You love him, don't you?" Henry smiled, "He'll understand."
"I hope so too." Yuqin smiled and looked at Henry, "Thank you."
"Any time." As they said their farewell, Yuqin stayed behind for a while. She sat on the sand while thinking about the new positions. Even though she wanted to apply and gain new experience, she didn't want to leave this beautiful view. The beach. The beautiful sunset. After she turned around and getting ready to leave, one of her colleagues named Maya, stopped her.
"Yuqin, even though I didn't pass, I'm really glad you did. I think the new position will also be a great experience for you." Maya smiled.
"Thank you, Maya."
It was still early in the evening, Yuqin went to a flower shop and got a bouquet. Today was her father's death anniversary. As she drove to the cemetery, it was quiet with no disturbances. After parking, she got out and grabbed the bouquet. She went up the stairs and stopped when she saw his name.
She carefully laid the flowers down and smiled, "Dad, I got good news for you. I passed my exams, and I also got Han Rong back. Dad, I don't know whether I should apply for the new positions. What do you think, dad? Should I?" Yuqin thought about the words that his dad will usually say.
"Yuqin, new opportunities will open new doors. You need to grasp the chance."
Yuqin stayed quiet for a while. After a while, she got up and went back to her car. It was a long day for her. She got out her phone and called Han Rong.
"Hello?" Han Rong answered, "Yuqin. Is that you? Are you alright?"
"I'm fine. How about you?" Yuqin replied.
"I'm still occupied with work but I should be finished around half an hour. Let's meet at my workplace. We have free dinner, I really hope you could join us." Han Rong sounded excited because who wouldn't want free dinner.
"Okay, see you soon." She hung up and sighed. She didn't know how to tell Han Rong about this.

After dinner, everyone went home. Han Rong looked at Yuqin and said, "You look tired today. Is everything alright?"
"Han Rong." Yuqin replied in a clear voice, "I have something to tell you."
"What is it?" Han Rong and Yuqin sat on the bench.
"I'm planning on applying for a new position." She continued on, "If I do make it in, I'll have to leave Sanya." Han Rong stayed quiet for a while.
"Which position?" He asked.
"Water Rescue Specialist. Specifically under the Red Cross. I'll be able to work with different members of the police force and military personnel. But the training will be for three months. After that, we might be stationed in different parts of the world." Han Rong remained silent. He knew this would be a great chance for her to grow and learn new things but he didn't want her to go.
"Yuqin. Apply for that position then. I'll fully support you. When you become fully certified, I'll give you a surprise."
Yuqin was stunned and looked at him.
"I thought you didn't want me to go. I was actually nervous before telling you the truth." Han Rong held her hand and replied in a calm voice, "I love you, Yuqin. This will be a challenging part of your life but I believe you can do it. Just like when you rescued Lingling. I trust you." He gave her a passionate kiss.
Just then, Albert came back outside after cleaning up the room. He saw Han Rong and Yuqin sitting on the bench, smiling at each other.
"Ohh, you two lovebirds. I thought you left already. Boss, the room is cleaned. I'll take my leave now." Han Rong stopped him and said, "Albert, do me a favor." Albert looked confused but agreed.
"Albert, I remembered your younger sister is part of a rescue team, right?" Han Rong asked.
"Well, yes. Water rescue, specifically. But she's usually on call. Why?"
"Yuqin wants to apply for Water Rescue Specialist for the Red Cross. I was wondering if you can get into contact with your sister so they can have a chat together. It might help Yuqin."
Albert was stunned and looked at Yuqin, "Yuqin, you're seriously considering it? I never knew you were so capable. Being a lifeguard is hard enough but water rescue specialist... wow! I'll tell my younger sister to come and visit you. She'll be so happy to know someone else other than her likes to water rescue."
Yuqin smiled, "I'll still have to apply and see. I don't even know if I'm able to."
Albert laughed, "Of course you'll be able to. You're boss' girlfriend."
"Albert, thank you so much." Yuqin was grateful for him then looked at Han Rong, "Thank you, Han Rong."
After Albert left, Yuqin helped Han Rong onto his wheelchair.
"I'll drop you off, Han Rong." Han Rong nodded and smiled at her. Once they got inside the car, she drove straight to Han Rong's apartment. After fifteen minutes, they finally got back. Han Rong called Lingling to come down and pick him up. Yuqin helped him with his wheelchair then waited for Lingling to come down.
"Yuqin, thank you. Drive safely. Text me when you get back home." Yuqin smiled at him and replied, "I will." She walked a bit closer to him then kissed him again. He reciprocated the kiss as well.
