She wore a small red top with a split at the neckline, showing a small portion of her chest, and a puffy black skirt. He even has the guts to steal glances at my chest—so filthy!

Harriet sat at the dining table. She ate silently, watching Theo as he fed Delila, acting like real couples; she felt disgusted just by watching them.
Immediately it clocked twelve, she grinned; it was time....
Delila suddenly started hyperventilating, her eyes rolled back as all hell broke loose. She started removing white liquid, and it only got worse by the minute.
Theo was shouting for help, cradling Delila in his arms as both the servants and guards came rushing in to help, but by the time they came, it was already too late. Harriet sat the whole time, quietly watching the whole thing unravel, smiling inwardly. Moments after the commotion,
Theo turned to Harriet with a murderous look on his face, and she was ready for him
everyone stood still ; tense!
Very good , Come at me!!
Harriet thought as she slowly rose from her seat, Theo seized a sword from a nearby guard, stopping right in front of Harriet.
Seeing what was happening, his guards sorrounded them,
She turned to them ;
Stand down, i have no intention of killing my people, but if i must, i will!
They all snickered.
Are you deaf?!!
He snapped at her, she raised her head slowly to face him, a smile on her face,
if glares could kill, then she would be dead with the way he way he was looking at her, unable to control himself, he raised his hand, landing a slap so loud that even those around them winced, on her face, leaving a red mark on her cheeks.
Since you made the first move, allow me to proceed ;
Immediately he struck her, she rose, sliding out two knives she had strapped to her thighs, he lurched back, his guards stepped forward, their swords pointing at her,
She smiled.
Adjusting her weight, she charged forward,
They were good, but her teacher taught her to be better.....
Swords clashed, they all charged forward at her with the intent to kill, and she was ready for them, taking them all head on. She put them all down with only a few cuts, immediately turning to Theo, who held a sword in his shaking hands ;

He turned facing the maids,
Before he could reach them, she countered him, stepping between him and the servants.
They all stood watching, their gaze fixed on Harriet, watching the return of their long awaited queen.
Their weapons clanged once,Harriet stood her ground, advancing forward as Theo retreated back.
All it took was a single swing and his sword went flying, she closed in, her blade inches away from his throat when she spoke :
Any last words Theo??
W---wait, wait, wait Harriet. I've realized my mistake, pls forgive me, i'm sorry, i still love you, i never stopped loving you Harriet, you know that right??
You can't kill me!!

She said, lowering her blade to everyone's surprise.

He said, but deep down, he was cackling at how stupid she was.
Ok then, i believe you, now, let's go.
She stretched out her hand to him, who eagerly took it as she led him to the balcony facing the city square. Below them stood a crowd of reigonians, assembled to witness this memorable day.

Why are all these people here, what's happening??
He asked.
Behind him, Harriet stepped back, her blade moved,
whispering a final good bye, her blade pierced through his chest,

he gasped as blood spilled from his mouth as the crowd howled in victory. She took a deep breath before drawing her sword out, she watched as he slumped to the floor. After what seemed like centuries, she finally faced the crowd.

She nodded, so he released her, she was about to continue when someone screamed behind her, without thinking she dashed back inside,
Standing in the middle of the room stood an enormously large brown serpent bearing it's fangs at the servants. She turned to Elijah who looked just as surprised as her.Help, i can't do this alone.
He stood still, then turned to the crowd :
Prove youeself, prove your worth!
The crowd chorused it back :
Prove yourself, prove your worth!! Harriet stood dumbfounded,

She stared from the crowd and back at the creature,
They see this thing right??!!!
A woman screamed as the creature lurched towards them, racing forward she slid across the floor, grabbing another sword and ran towards the serpent. Before she could reach it she slowed down as to not attract it's attention yet.
She looked around the large space, trying to think of a way to kill it, when it suddenly occured to her that Delila's body was nowhere to be seen.
Hmmmmm.
This thing couldn't possibly be... Delila, right?
She thought. But that's impossible!!
Immediately it spotted Theo's cold body it sighted Harriet, screeching it charged towards her who was trying to sneak up on her.
Harriet was caught unaware, she tried stepping back but it pinned her down, coiling it's tail around her, she screamed in pain as it's grip tightened around her, definitely crushing some bones.
Elijah's feet moved forward, but quickly stoped himself.
You have to do this alone Harriet, i'm sorry!!
If this is how you must redeem yourself, then you must!!
Harriet struggled to get free as it opened it's mouth, ready to chomp down on her head, with all the strength she had, she grabbed her sword and plunged it into it's upper belly ; it screeched in pain, releasing her in the process.
Harriet didn't waste any time, she grabbed another sword and ran it through both it's eyes, turning swiftly she grabbed the fourth sword and sliced it's belly open further.
The creature hissed, wiggling it's tail it slammed Harriet a few feet away from itself,
Harriet crawled on the floor, not having the strength to stand as she felt blood rushing out of her belly, meanwhile it continued screeching, smashing everything in it's way. It suddenly stoped, to everyone's horror, it began to shrink back to a human body ;
Delila moaned in pain, coughing out black blood.
Harriet staggered to her feet, approaching Delila ;
What, what are you??
She asked weakly, her voice barely audible.
Delila hissed at Harriet.
You just wait you bitch,
my queen will kill you all,
She'll melt your skins and eat you alive!!
You just wait,
Delila laughed evily :
My queen is coming for you all, she's coming!! Delila went silent right after.
Elijah sighed in relief as the crowd came alive with roars of praise.
Victory to the queen!!
All hail the queen of Reigon!!
He roared. The crowd roared the chant,
Turning to face her people, she smiled before falling to the ground, darkness engulfing her.

Harriet finally woke up from her long slumber, Elijah was seated right beside her, she got up immediately. Easy there Harriet, or you might reopen your wounds,

Elijah!! I'm sorry for all that happened, and i want.....

Why did you watch and do nothing while Theo did all those horrible things, why didn't you fight, why did you remain silent?? I never really could guess why?
Harriet remained silent, staring down at her hands, silently thinking.
I--i really don't know, i can't really remember anything properly, but, i do remember, faintly though... A night, Delila came to my room in the middle night before my marriage to Theo, She spat something into my mouth, i couldn't move at all, but the next day i didn't remember a thing.
Hmmmmmmmmm.
Anyways, what was she??
She asked facing Elijah.
I don't quite know either, but, i remember a mythical story about a serpent queen that came to earth generations ago, and that was a long time ago,
it was said that she started turning people that worshiped her into strange creatures before going into an eternal slumber.
It was probably to scare us to do what we were told, you don't really think all that's true, right??
I'm not sure either, but all what Delila said didn't sound like a bluff, she did turn into a serpent creature after all, so i guess there's something suspicious going on here.
Alright, so what do we do then??
Elijah asked.
I think we should investigate this more, find something, anything! About this serpent queen. But for now, i can't afford to lie around doing nothing, there's much to be done.
She said getting off the bed with Elijah's help.
