An unfamiliar ceiling greeted me when I opened my eyes. Looking around I found myself in an unknown room, lying down in a bed.
"You are finally awake." A voice from my side startled me. Turning my head I saw Myria sitting besides my bed on a chair.
"Where am I?" I tried to speak but was interrupted.
"You passed out from your injuries after the Awakening Ceremony. Don't worry; it's quite normal. You should be fine now, though. They hooked you up with some strong healing elixirs. If anything, you should be feeling better than the moment you walked in here."
Listening to her, I began checking my body. She was right, my body felt strangely rejuvenated, and that was without mentioning the strange vitality flowing through my body.
And the core. I immediately concentrated on my body to check. There, near my navel, was a spherical gem shimmering with faint light, radiating strength.
