-Haruka POV-
I kept looking at the sky, and then I noticed something. But before saying anything, I kept watching the fireworks until it's over. This guy seriously did that?
"Did you get the message, Haru-chan?" Levi asked while looking at me, with a smile of course.
Right. I did get the message. I didn't notice at first actually, but it's written in Japanese characters, which said 'Haru-chan, daisuki. Matteimasu' (Haru-chan, I really like you. I'll be waiting for you).
"Mattaku. You seriously did that? What if other people read that too?" I said that to him in disbelief.
"They won't. That's the reason why it's written in Japanese characters after all." He replied to me confidently. But why do I have a bad feeling about this?
"So, you did get the message, right?" He asked me again because I didn't answer him earlier.
"I did." I mumbled. Right. I did. But what do I need to tell him now?
"Well, to be honest, I wanted to say what I told you at the pavilion earlier right now. But I'll tell you again. Like I said earlier, you don't have to rush yourself, and you don't have to feel pressure. The message said I'll be waiting for you, so I'll wait. So, don't worry. I really like you." He said that with a very gentle voice. Honestly, I feel like I want to cry again right now.
"Levi, seriously, why would you…"
"Onii-chan!" Hanabi's voice cut me off. Ugh. Why now? I turned my head to look at her, but I guess I met someone whose eyes I don't want to meet right now.
"You stupid brat. So this is where you have been." That's right. Of course, it's my father.
"I have the right to be where I wanted to be." I replied to my father with a flat voice.
"This kid. You have no idea how many people asked me about you, and I ran out of ideas on what to tell each of them. You should at least show yourself if you're already here." My father kept nagging me. Well, that's not entirely my fault.
"I told you I'm not interested in showing myself, right? You shouldn't have come in the first place if you want to complain to me." I said that while rolling my eyes, ignoring the looks from Levi right now.
"This kid. How could I not come when Mr. Levi Ackerman here invited me by himself?" My father said that while referring to Levi.
"Dr. Auclair, please just call me Levi." Levi said it politely to my father.
"Alright, haha. I'm sorry, Levi. You've got to deal with this stubborn child of mine. I hope he's not giving you a difficult time at the office." My father said that to Levi. What does he think I am? A child? Mattaku.
"No, sir. Haruka has been helping me a lot since he joined the company." Levi said that in a polite way.
"Well, I'm glad to hear that." And my father seems to get along really well with him.
"Are you staying here for tonight, father?" I asked, interrupting their conversation.
"Of course not. I'm afraid there's a lot of work that needs to be done at the hospital." My father replied. Well, I'm glad he won't be staying here tonight.
"I see. Where's Hanaka nii-san?" I asked. Right. I didn't see my brother. I heard he had also come.
"This kid. Now, you're asking about your big brother. He's been talking to his friend since earlier. I'm guessing you won't see him here today. Make sure to come to the main residence often. Your grandfather did buy you a closer house, but you still act like you're living far away. I need to go now." My father said that, ready to leave.
"Alright, I'll do what you said. Send my regards to mother, grandfather, and grandma." I said that, still with my poker face.
"Hah, this kid. Come, Hanabi." My father asked Hanabi to follow him.
"I'll follow from behind later, dad. I have something to say to onii-chan first." Hanabi said that, and my father just nodded and then left.
"What is it?" As soon as my father left, I asked her.
"Well, actually, I want to talk to Levi. Here, I brought the thing you asked for." Hanabi said that and then handed Levi a paper bag.
"Thank you, Hanabi." Levi said that with a smile.
"No problem. I'll be going now. See you at home, onii-chan." Hanabi said so and then left.
"What is that?" I asked Levi as soon as Hanabi left, and I could tell that my voice sounded a bit off. It's like being jealous. This stupid mouth.
"Are you jealous, Haru-chan?" Levi asked me with a playful smirk.
"I'm just asking." I replied, avoiding his gaze.
"Haha. I asked Hanabi to bring it because she had said she would be coming to meet you before she left. This is for you. Since you're also the guest for today's event, you should get the gift too. But this one I made especially for you. Well, I guess I should get going now. The event will be over soon. See you later, Haru-chan." He said that and then left me alone there.
I then take a look at what's inside the paper bag. There's a lot, but one thing that grabbed my attention is the painting. It's the painting of us when we ride the parasail. He did turn the picture into a portrait after all. I look at the back of the painting, and there's something written there.
"The waves may fade, but the memories we made will last forever."
That's what was written there. Memories. Will our memories last forever? Actually, this is my first time. My first time creating memories with someone other than my family members. I never had these kinds of memories in my past relationships. This time, it's all thanks to Levi Ackerman. Strangely, I do hope our memories will last forever, no matter what our relationship is.

-Ackerman Group Main Branch-
Now, we're back at work again. A lot of things happened after the grand opening event a few days ago, and now here we are. Working again. Well, I just finished buying a coffee at the cafe. Actually one coffee and one iced black tea for Levi.
"Please wait a moment." Someone stopped me from closing the elevator and got in. Mattaku, it startled me. He looks at his watch while breathing heavily. Because of that, I couldn't see his face well. But this is the elevator used straight towards Levi's office. Does he have an appointment with Levi right now?
"You're Haruka Charles Auclair." He suddenly spoke, making me look at him. If I'm not mistaken, he is Cedric Fournier, the eldest son of the Fournier Family, the one and only family who owns the cruise lines in France, which is Fournier Cruise Lines Holdings. Cedric is the company's managing director.
"Ah, yes. And you're Cedric Fournier, right? What are you doing here?" I asked him out of nowhere. I was informed that the meeting with their company should be tomorrow. And it's supposed to be his father the one coming, so what is he doing here right now?
"Oh, I was on my way to meet the CEO, Mr. Levi Ackerman. What about you, Mr. Auclair? Are you going to meet the CEO too?" This time, he asked me the same question.
"Yeah, you're right. I didn't know that he had another meeting right now." I lied. I'm not going to tell him that I'm Levi Ackerman's secretary. Of course not, especially when he knew who I was.
"Ah yes. I was supposed to meet him tomorrow. Well, actually not me but my father. But then suddenly I was told to meet him today unexpectedly, so here I am." He explained that to me, and I think I got what he wanted to say.
"Ah, I see." I replied shortly without looking at him.
"I didn't see you at the grand opening event the other day. Since you're the resort's face icon, I thought I would see you there." He suddenly spoke again. Right. I know this will happen. If they happen to meet me, everyone who knows me will take the opportunity to talk to me.
"I had something to do the other day, which is why I couldn't make it." I lied again.
"I see. Well, I guess I'm lucky to meet you here today, then. Are you going to meet the CEO to talk about the new resort launch?" He keeps asking me questions, when all I hope is for him to just remain silent. Why does it take so long to reach the office floor?
TING!
Finally, we arrived at the floor. I don't have to answer his question anymore.
"Look, we've arrived." I said that while waiting for the elevator to open. As soon as the elevator's door opens, Levi Ackerman is standing right in front of me.
"Mr. Auclair, I've been waiting for you." Levi said that and then grabbed my hand. This idiot. Didn't he see that Cedric was also here? I gently pushed his hand, warning him that someone else was also here.
"Mr. Fournier, you're here." Levi said that as soon as Cedric came out of the elevator.
"It's an honour to meet you, Mr. Ackerman. I'm sorry for the sudden change of the schedule." Cedric said while extending his hand towards Levi.
"No, that's okay. Let's head inside, shall we?" Levi replied, accepting the handshake. Then we head over to his office. I can't go sit at my table right now.
"Oh, right. Mr. Auclair, you can wait in the waiting room first." Levi said that as soon as we entered his office.
"Alright. Let me know when you're done." I said that and then left to the room, it's the bedroom, actually. At the end, I didn't get the chance to give Levi his tea.

"Tch. That sure took too long for the first meeting." Levi suddenly entered the room, which made me startled.
"You're right. And why didn't you tell me that you're meeting him today instead of tomorrow? And not the CEO but their eldest son. He even knew who I was." I said that while glaring at him. Of course, I've been keeping myself hidden, and only a few people knew about me working here.
"How should I know? My father just told me he changed the meeting schedule 10 minutes before you both arrived. That stupid old man." Levi said that while cursing his own father.
"Wait. Are you telling me that this deal was actually done by your father and not you?" I asked him, in disbelief. Since I wasn't present when they made the deal, I don't know the details. Levi just said that they were to meet tomorrow.
"Right. My father wanted me to handle this project because it was originally mine. I'm going to ask Lucas to handle this later. Hah. I don't even want to meet that Cedric bastard anymore." Levi said that with a cold voice. Is there something that happened between them earlier?
"Why are you so angry? What happened?" I asked him with a curious face.
"Of course I'm angry. That bastard dared to ask me to let him see you." So, that's the reason. That's Levi Ackerman, after all.
"Don't tell me you snapped at him." I said that while glaring at him.
"What do you take me for? I still know how to act professionally. Tch. Forget about him. Let's just go have lunch together. There's someone who wants to meet you." Levi said that and then grabbed my hand.
"Who is it?" I asked him while looking at him.
"You'll know it later."
