-Levi POV-
I didn't expect to meet you here, Mr. Haruka Charles Auclair. The photographer is right. You're too pretty for a man. Just like an angel. Right, let's have lunch together, shall we?" An unfamiliar voice spoke from the room. I take a peek from the door to see Alderic trying to approach Haruka. I opened the door, but they didn't seem to notice me.
"Get your hand off of him." I said that, then shoved his hand away from Haruka.
"Levi." Haruka spoke in shock.
"Ah, Mr. Levi Ackerman. It's an honour to meet you, sir." He said that to me, extending his hand to shake mine.
"I was told that you'll be coming here in the evening." I said so in a cold voice, ignoring his hand.
"Ah, Mr. Haruka Charles Auclair said the same thing. Well, you see, sir. My schedule for today got postponed, so here I am now. How about we have lunch together, sir? Since I just got paid yesterday, it's on me. I heard the seafood here is delicious." He said that with a friendly voice, but his eyes kept looking at Haruka. This brat.
"Well, thank you for the offer, but Mr. Auclair here doesn't really like seafood." I responded to him with a disinterested expression.
"You seem to be very close with Mr. Auclair, sir." He said that while looking at me with a smirk. This brat dared to look at me like that.
"You're right. We are very close. Closer than you might think." I said that, grabbing Haruka closer towards me.
"I see. I was wondering how they got to hire you as the face icon. The second young master, whose no one knows what he's been up to after all these years. I guess you guys are close enough to make Mr. Auclair agree to do that then. But, Mr. Auclair, I'd like to get close to you too. How about we exchange numbers?" He said that, trying to grab Haruka's hand again.
"I said hands off." I said that while shoving his hand harshly.
"Don't you think you're being overprotective, sir?" He said it while rubbing his hand. I bet I did hurt him a bit.
"Can't you see he's uncomfortable right now?" I said that to him with a glare.
"Levi, it's okay. You don't have to be harsh with him." Haruka said it in a low voice. I can tell that he's actually trying to prevent me from acting harsh any further.
"You heard him, sir. So, Mr. Auclair…"
"Alderic, I've been looking for you. Oh, I'm sorry for interrupting. I'm Alderic's manager, Vincent Jourdan. It's an honour to be working with you, Mr. Ackerman." He said it while bowing.
"So you're his manager. I would appreciate it if you take him away from here. Mr. Auclair is trying to get a rest right now." I said that with a cold voice, and he seemed to be taken aback.
"Will do, sir. I'm sorry for any inconvenience we caused. Alderic, you come with me." He said that, grabbing Alderic by his arm.
"Well, I appreciate that. Later, I'll let my staff show you both around. We have already prepared the rooms, and have a great time staying here." This time, I said it with my professional voice.
"We should be the ones to be grateful for that, sir. We'll take our leave now, sir." He said that, and they both left.
"Levi, don't you think you've been a bit harsh? He's the model you hired. What if he's going to cancel that?" Haruka said in a worried voice.
"He won't. You heard him say he got paid, right? We have already paid him half. So he won't cancel that. Forget about him. Here, your drink. It's melting already. Should I get you the new one?" I asked him with concern.
"No, that's okay. Thank you for the drink." He said that and took the drink from me.
"Btw, I'm sorry, Haruka." I said that with a regretful voice.
"Hmm? Why would you be sorry?" He asked in confusion.
"I didn't expect that he would recognise you. I told you I'm not going to let you meet him, but then he nearly touched you. I was told that he's going to arrive this evening. I wasn't involved in that matter since Lucas is the one who's in charge of that model brat. I'll talk to him later." I said that with a low voice. Well, I feel like I failed to protect him just now.
"Levi, you don't have to do that. I bet even Lucas didn't know yet that he's here. You told me to forget about that, right? So, just let him be. I won't be seeing him again, anyway." Haruka said that, then sipped on his drink again.
"Then, would you like to go back to Paris by today? Well, I'm afraid that you might run into him again." I said that with a low voice. To be honest, I don't want them to see each other again. I can sense something bad came from that Alderic brat.
"You know, it's my first time here. Since we're already here, I might want to enjoy myself a little. You said you'd protect me, right?" He said that with a smile. Right, I promised I would protect him. Sending him back to Paris without even having a chance to have fun wouldn't make him happy.
"You're right. Then, what about grabbing lunch with me right now? I asked the chef to prepare your favourite and mine, of course." I said that with a smile, and surprisingly, he smiled back.
"Since this is my first time being here, I leave everything to you, then." He said that with a smile, and I'm happy to be able to see that.
"Then, let's go! I'm going to try everything here with you." I said that happily and grabbed his hand without realising it, but he didn't shove my hand away.
//SKIP//
"Levi, how do I go backward? Oh my God, I've been doing this for 45 minutes already, I'm getting tired." Haruka kept sighing from the moment he entered the kayak until now. Well, we chose to go kayaking after I failed to persuade Haruka into doing jet skiing. Well, it's worth it. Seeing him struggling but at the same time being cute.
"Haruka, your body really is not for sports. I told you many times to pull the paddle blade back through the water in a smooth motion and keep the blade close to the kayak. Use your core muscles, Haruka." I said that with a chuckle.
"And I keep telling you many times, I can't do that. I guess the only thing I can do is move backward. I'm tired. Let's stop here, shall we?" He said that to me. He looks exhausted right now.
"Hahaha. Alright, alright. I think we have had enough of kayaking now. Next, let's go parasailing. You won't have to use your energy. Just relax and enjoy the view." I said that while paddling a kayak towards the shore, and after a few seconds we arrived there. I'm a pro, that's why.
"Parasailing? What kind of activity is that?" He asked while I'm helping him get off the kayak.
"Well, it's an activity where you are towed behind a boat while attached to a parachute-like canopy. We'll be flying about hundreds of feet above the water." I explained that to him, and he looked at me in shock.
"Parachute? Flying? Are you sure I'll be able to enjoy the view like that?" He asked me, doubting what I said.
"Of course. Did I ever lie to you?" I said that with a smirk.
"You better be right. I do enjoy kayaking, but I'm exhausted already. So I need a relaxing activity for now." He said it while taking a deep breath.
And then, 10 minutes later...
"Levi, are you sure this is going to be okay?" Haruka asked me with a scared voice. Oh my, he's too cute.
"Don't worry. Everything will be alright. I got you here. I assure you you'll be having fun and forget all the fears later." I said that while checking the life jacket and all the equipment on him.
"You seem to be doing this a lot." He said so, still scared.
"You're right. I've been parasailing a lot every time I visit Hawaii. Jet skiing and paddleboarding, too. We should do that too, later." I said that with an excited voice.
"Are you seriously going to ask me to do that with you? No, I'm not doing that." He said it while shaking his head.
"You already refused jet skiing, so I won't be asking you to do that. Let's do the other things together, shall we? There's still a lot to do." I said that with a grin.
"Why don't you help me with this first before we do something else?" He said that, checking his own body. I bet he's still scared.
"You're all set. Everything's in good condition, so you don't have to worry. Let's board the boat, shall we?" I said that, extending my hand for him to grab it, and surprisingly, he did so. After that, the boat heads out into the open water.
"Get ready to take off, Haruka." I said that, and then the staff came to attach the harness to us.
"Levi, are you sure this is safe? I know we got the life jacket on, but this is my first time." Haruka spoke in a fearful tone. He's too adorable to handle.
"I said I'd protect you, right? So don't worry. You can just hold my hand if you're scared. I won't let go."
