-Haruka POV-
CLANG!!!
What? What is that noise? It came from the kitchen. Is someone trying to rob this villa? Impossible. The security here is too tight for that. But there's only me and Levi here. Is a cat broken in? I make my steps towards the kitchen, and I'm shocked to see what is in front of me right now. There is Levi Ackerman, with an apron on himself, trying to get the pan on the floor.
"What are you doing, Levi?" I ask him.
"Ah, Haruka. Did you just wake up? Or did I make you wake up because of the noise?" He asked me, looking a bit anxious.
"Forget about that. I'm asking, What are you doing?" I asked him again.
"As you can see, I'm trying to make breakfast." He grins at me. I look around in the kitchen, and my eyes land on the pan with a burnt egg in it.
"Levi Ackerman, you're so perfect in everything, and yet you can't even cook an egg properly?" I said that to him and then laughed. I guess even Levi Ackerman has something he's not good at.
"What do I do? I never cook, not even once. The housekeeper prepared everything for me every day." He pouts, and I could say there's a cute side to him sometimes.
"Geez, said a spoiled rich kid. You should learn to cook, Levi. In case you want to cook for me again, right?" I smirk at him and take the pan towards the sink.
"I will, and one day you'll regret that you laughed at me just now." He glares at me. Well, I can say it's a sulky glare, haha.
"Alright, Levi. Now, why don't you just sit there, and I'll make something for us to eat? Since it's past 10 already, should we just eat something for lunch?" I ask him, but he ignores me.
"I don't care. Do whatever you want." He said that without even looking at me when he was already sitting at the tabletop.
"Okay, then. Just sit there and wait obediently." I keep teasing him and he just glares at me. He's such a kid.
-1 hour later-
-Levi POV-
I look at Haruka who is now setting up all the food on the dining table. He looks so cool when he's cooking. I bet he will be a great lover for me one day. Of course, he will. He's an extraordinary person anyway. And he will be my partner one day
"What are you thinking about in that head of yours?" Haruka's sweet voice snaps me out of my daydreaming. Tch.
"It's nothing. None of your business anyway." I said that while glaring at him. Acting like I'm still sulking.
"Oh, really? Not that I care anyway. The food's ready. Get your ass here and eat." He said that and sat at the dining table already.
I make my way towards the table and I'm a bit shocked. There's spaghetti, mushroom soup, mashed potato, and berries trifle. Did he just make all of this in one hour?
"What are you still standing there? Eat before they get cold." Again, his voice snaps me out of my thoughts. Well, I guess this doesn't matter anymore. He's an extraordinary person after all. I take a seat in front of him.
"I don't know whether you prefer bolognese or carbonara, so I just prepared both." He said that as soon as I took my seat.
"I can eat both. Thank you for the food." I take a plate and put some spaghetti on it. I can eat both but I prefer carbonara more so I take that and then take a bite. It's so delicious that it makes me speechless and I stop eating for a while.
"What is it? Is it not to your liking?" He asks the opposite question. This is obviously to my liking.
"What are you talking about? This is way too delicious, and of course I like it. This is the best spaghetti I've ever eaten." I said that without realising it. My acting sulking mood is gone already.
"Pfft. You're overreacting. Well, even Hanabi said my spaghetti is her favourite." He said that with a bright smile. I don't know why, but I feel like he's been smiling a lot lately. I don't know the reason, but I at least hope that I can be a part of that reason.
"You've been smiling a lot lately. I'm glad." I said something that should be kept in my mind out loud. Crap.
"What are you saying? I can smile too, you know." He replies and continues eating. Oh no, I can sense the awkwardness in the atmosphere right now.
"I took a look around the villa earlier this morning. It's beautiful, but why did your family decide to buy a villa here? It takes a lot of time to get here too." I said, trying to find something to talk about, and I succeeded. He's finally looking at me.
"My mother bought this villa for my birthday. Because I said I wanted to live somewhere quiet and near the beach one day." He told me the reason. Wait, did he just say his mother bought this villa for his birthday? So, this villa is technically his.
"Your birthday? Then this villa is yours, not your mother's." I stated the fact instead of asking.
"Yes, this villa is mine. I didn't ask for this, but my mother bought it for me." Typical answer from a rich kid, and of course the same goes for me.
"Are you going to live here one day?" I asked him because he had mentioned it before.
"Well, maybe. When I'm old and have nothing to do anymore, lol." He replies, while eating the mashed potato.
"I bet you have to wait for the generation after us to take care of the company first for you to do that." I said the facts. Of course, until the next heir is born, I'm the one who's going to operate the company.
"Heh. I bet you're right." He chuckles and continues eating.
"Talking about birthdays, your birthday is around the corner. What do you want for your birthday?" Since we're already on the topic, it should be fine to ask, right?
He looks at me before replying, "I just want a normal birthday celebration, that's all." Normal? What did he mean by normal?
"What do you mean by that?" I can't really understand what he's trying to say, so I ask.
"I've been celebrating my birthday overseas for 28 years and getting extraordinary gifts every year. I bet my grandfather already made a reservation somewhere for my birthday this time. But in reality, I don't really need that. So, I just hope I can celebrate a normal birthday this year, lol." This is the first time. The first time he's open up to me to talk about his personal life without me even needing to ask for the details.
"And what is the normal birthday celebration for you?" I ask him. Compared to me, I don't really celebrate my birthday, so I'm not sure myself.
"Well, I'm not sure. Maybe just having a small party and eating with the family. What about you? How did you celebrate your birthday then?" He asks me something I didn't expect.
"I don't really celebrate my birthday since my mother passed away, and I've been living in the US since then. Well, Uncle Kenny and his family did have a small party to celebrate my birthday sometimes."
-Haruka POV-

"Oh, I'm sorry about that." I apologised.
"No worries. It doesn't affect me. I'm a grown man now, you see." Lie. He's lying. Of course, it affects him. I shouldn't ask him that in the first place.
"Oh, btw, we'll be leaving for Perth this evening. My mother insisted on us going there since there's not much you can do here." Right. I should try to change the topic first.
"That's cool. Then you should show me around tomorrow." He said that, and suddenly changed to his usual smirk. This guy could change in an instance.
"Why should I? You're a grown man now, so you should be alright on your own." I glare at him. The sympathy I felt towards him earlier is now gone.
"You're more familiar with the place, so you should be the one to guide me. I believe you didn't forget about what your mother told you, right?" He smirks. Now, he's trying to threaten me.
"Fine. Do whatever you want." I have no choice but to do what he wants.

-The Next Day in Perth-
Today, I'm going to accompany Levi for Perth sightseeing. Ugh, if it's not because of my mom, I won't do this.
"Are you ready, sir? Shall we go then?" Levi's voice pissed me, but then I was shocked after that.
"What is this? Where did you get this?"
