Chapter 33 - THE DATE

-Levi POV-

"I'm going to the washroom for a while." Haruka excuses himself and walks towards the washroom.

After a minute, I stood up and made my way towards the washroom too. He's washing his hand.

"So, you're going on a date with Louis tomorrow?" I let my voice out, and he seemed a bit surprised.

"Levi. What are you doing here?" He didn't answer my question. Well, he's still shocked, I guess.

"Why? Am I not allowed here? This is a public washroom. So, are you really going on a date with Louis tomorrow?" I asked again. This time, he seems to calm down.

"Yeah. We'll be going on a date tomorrow. What's wrong with that." He said. He looks confident now, like he always does.

"Cancel it." Without thinking, those two words escaped my mouth. I've been feeling irritated since earlier, but I cannot lose my cool in front of Louis.

"Huh? What are you talking about? You didn't seem interested earlier, and now you're telling me to cancel it. Who are you to tell me what to do?" His voice sounded a bit irritated, as if he'd actually been disappointed with my actions earlier.

"Oh, or were you afraid you'd lose your cool in front of your brother? That's why you said you didn't care." He keeps talking, and he's not wrong. That's exactly the reason.

"You may be right about that, but I'm doing this right now for your own good." I don't want Haruka to get hurt later, so I'm trying my best here.

"For my own good? Then just let me be happy here and stop interfering with my life. I know what I do, and you know I'm not stupid." This time, he's really pissed, and I can tell that just by looking at his face. Without even looking at me, he makes his way towards the door to leave the washroom, but I grab his arm to stop him.

"I know my brother better than you, and I don't want you to get hurt." I strengthen the grip on his arm.

"You're the only person who's hurting me right now. Let go of my hand." He moans in pain softly, and I realise that I'm hurting him. I let go of his arm.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean..."

"What took you guys so long? The desserts have been served." Louis' voice cut me off, and Haruka quickly grabbed Louis' hand and left the washroom.

-The Next Day-

-Haruka POV-

I was looking at myself in front of the mirror. I put on a casual outfit for myself today. I rarely wear this kind of outfit since I rarely go out. I only go out for work and family meetings, and on the days off, I usually just rest at home. I feel like it's a bit over, but since it's a date with Louis, I don't mind looking all good for him. I smile at myself.

"Okay, now I'm ready. Since Louis said we're going to have breakfast somewhere, I guess I'll just have a glass of milk first." I opened the fridge, and then I saw what Levi got me yesterday. I forgot about them.

"I know my brother better than you, and I don't want you to get hurt." Levi's words yesterday keep ringing in my ears. What did he mean? Louis would never hurt me.

I drink the milk and put it back in the fridge. I'll eat them later tonight, or I'll just throw them away. I closed the fridge. Taking my phone and wallet, I walk towards the door to leave.

"Good morning, senpai. You look good." Louis is now in front of my room, smiling at me.

"Louis. You said we'd be meeting in the lobby." I said, looking at him. He's wearing a white shirt with light blue skinny jeans and sunglasses. It is very simple, but yet it looks so perfect on him. I kept looking at him and didn't even realise that I'd been staring for too long.

"Haruka senpai, let's go. I've called your name so many times already. Am I too handsome to look at?" His words woke me up, and my face is clearly red right now.

"I'm sorry. Let's go. And yeah, you're too handsome to look at." With that, I left him behind and headed towards the elevator.

"I know, right. Senpai, don't leave me." He catches up to me and grabs my right hand.

"Don't leave me behind, senpai. We're on dates, right?" He tightened his hand around mine. He's strangely sweet today. After a minute, we arrived at the hotel lobby level and exited the elevator. Louis is still holding my hand.

"Louis, is it okay for you to hold my hand like this?" I asked softly. I'm afraid he's uncomfortable.

"No worries, senpai. Oh, it's Levi. Where are you from, Levi?" Louis calls out for Levi and makes his way towards him, his hand still intertwined with mine. I take a look at Levi through the side of my eyes. He's wearing sports attire and sweating. I guess he just finished jogging at the park.

"You're always keeping your body healthy. No wonder you have a nice body, huh, Levi? Oh, well, we're going on a date now, Levi." Again, Louis tried to provoke Levi, and I don't know why.

"Please send this breakfast set to my room later. Thank you." Levi finishes his talk with the hotel staff, and he looks at Louis and me. I can see his eyes were looking at our hands for a while.

"Is that so? Have fun then." With that, he just left us and made his way towards the elevator.

I look at Louis, and he seems a bit frustrated. Maybe it's because he failed to provoke Levi.

"Well, don't mind, my brother. Shall we go, senpai?" His expression changes, and he looks at me with a sweet smile.

"Yeah, sure." I nodded

"I rented a car for our date today since we can't bring our own car here because of work." He opened the car door for me once we exited the hotel lobby. He rented the latest model of Mercedes-Benz. Doesn't he think he's been spending a lot already? I didn't mind going on a date using public transport, actually. I like that way better. But Louis must have prepared all this just for me, so I'm more than happy. I enter the car, and the same goes for him as soon as he closes the door at my side.

"Let's go." Louis started the car and went down on the road.

"Where are we going?" I asked him, trying to start the conversation.

"Somewhere you'll love to be, and it's pretty close from here too." He grinned and then went back to focus his eyes on the road. Maybe I shouldn't disturb him when he's driving.

After 15 minutes of driving, we arrived at the destination Louis mentioned. BLUNCK Pâtisserie Café. This cafe is also one of the cafes I wanted to visit, and of course, with Louis.

"We arrived. Let's go, senpai. Oh, wait." Louis unbuckled his seat belt, quickly got out of the car, and opened the car door for me.

"You don't have to do that. I can open them on my own." I smiled, and he smiled back.

"I'm going to treat you like a princess today, opps, I mean like a prince, so don't mind that." He said that, and we made our way towards the cafe entrance door.

"Senpai, I forgot to bring my wallet. Would you mind getting in there first?" Louis said as we arrived in front of the cafe door.

"Yeah, don't worry. I'll save the table for us first." I said, and he left to go to the car.

I opened the door, and my lucky day just got unlucky when I bumped into someone.

"Oh my goodness, I'm so…, wow, an angel just fell down from the sky." Huh? What did he just say? An angel? Who? Me?

"Young master, are you alright!" An old man in his 50s rushed here in panic.

"Don't worry, Mr. Monet. I'm okay. Btw, what's your name? Are you here by yourself?" He looks at me with his flirtatious face. I guess this one is gay too.

"He's here with me." Louis' voice grabs his attention.

"Oh, look, who do we have here? Louis Ackerman, Levi's younger brother." Wait, does he know Louis?
