Freeza seeing his father killed by the child became angry, but deep inside he was scared, he hadn't anticipated 2 new Super Saiyans. He wanted to run but he decided against it. He used his telekinesis to lift the surrounding debris and flung them at Goten and Trunks.
Goten and Trunks fired ki blasts at the oncoming debris causing a dustcloud to emerge which obscured their vision. Freeza blitzes behind Freeza and launches him to the ground. Trunks gets angry and fires ki blast at Freeza which connects and lightly injures him. Freeza reapears infront of Trunk and lands a devastating gut punch on Trunks who coughs up some saliva. The blow is so devastating that it takes Trunks a while to recover. Goten who had recovered a while ago sends a Kamehameha at freeza from affar. Freeza raises both his hands at the oncoming beams in and attempt to block and catch the oncoming beam. He partially succeeded but his hands were left heavily bruised.
Freeza charges up a supernova planning on launching it straight at the Earth, however Trunks reapears wiling his mouth with his arm while glaring at Freeza. The 2 charge up a beam to counter the large supernova. The 2 beams clash with the supernova pushing it back at Freeza who tries to put more strenth into sending it at the 2 saiyans but fails. Goten and Trunks put even more energy into the beam and with a final cry the both the beam and supernova collide into Freeza.
But we all know Freeza isn't so easy to kill. As the 2 boys celebrate their victory, Freeza who heavily injured and clinging to life uses all his remaining energy into disc attack, a death slicer is launched straight at the 2 saiyans who are quick to notice it and react in time. The deathslicer keeps following them and they keep on dodging. Trunks annoyed asks Freeza when he'll finally go down as he places his hands right below the disk instead of dodging it and spins around sending it right back at Freeza.
Freeza seeing this grows even more scared, his ptsd kicking in from the last time his own deathslicer was used against him on namek. He could do nothing with heavily injured body except watch as the deathslicer cane closer. He wanted to change its direction but since Trunks had thrown it, the speed of the deathslicer had increased even more, to the point where freeza didn't have any energy to save himself. The disc slices him in half after which his body explodes into smoke and disperses.
Piccolo congratulates the 2 but then berates them on their flaws during their fight, bringing their joyful celebratory mood down as they do nothing but look down in shame.
Back to king Yemma's domain.
Pikon can be seen trying to break out king Yemma from the jelly bean like structure surounding the checking station. He launches a green ki blast but it has no effect and is simply absorbed by the weird jelly been looking barrier. Pikon flies closer annoyed and starts yelling at it with insults. The jelly bean barrier cracks as a pieve js broken off. Pikon stares at it in surprise.
"You gotta be joking it can take my blasts but not my harsh words? Is such a thing even possible? I guess there's only one way to find out. "
Pikon thinks of a insult and yells it at the structure. He stares in expectation as a layer of the structure shatters into glass.
Meanwhile Kakarot can be seen trying to deal with Janemba who raises his hands and does a motion as if aiming at Kakarot. The nearby giant jelly beans in the sky start flying in Kakarots direction as they crash into the ground surounding him. Janemba does another motion with his gand closing it into a fist as the jelly beans trap him.
As Kakarot tries to climb out he sees Janemba runing into him, crashing into the jelly beans like a bowling ball and launching Kakarot into the sky. Kakarot repeatedly launches at Janemba but he simply slaps or kicks him away like a ball. Janemba punches into a portal as his fist reapears beside Kakarot and sends him flying into the side.
Janemba continues and repeatedly keeps striking Kakarot throwing him around. Kakarot decides to get a bit more serious by going ssj and launches a ki blast knocking Janemba to the floor as he charges a Kamehameha wave, launching it straight at janemba who raises his hand as a replica of Kakarot is seen sending a purple Kamehameha back. A massive explosion engulves the area as Kakarot looks serious preparing to finish of Janemba who let's loose a barage of ki blasts from the holes on his body. Kakarot dodges the blasts as Janemba spins while shooting multiple ki blasts which connect to the surrounding caysing a explosion that resembles a nuke.
Back to Pikon he keeps hurling insults after insults at the barrier, however it seems the process is slower than expected.
On Earth after Goten and Trunks dealt with Cold and Freeza another enemy suddenly made his presence known. It was none other than Cell. Piccolo seeing this got worried, he knew there was no way they could win. Their only hope was Goten and Trunks fusing.
After Kakarot returned to otherworld Piccolo hurried to train the 2, immediately taking them into the hyperbolic timechamber for 1 year, he didn't know the specifics of Goku's training but he remembered how Goku trained in the timechamber with Gohan trying to master ssj by keeping it on at all times.
Asside from mastering ssj he tried to teach them the vasics like he did with Gohan. It didn't take long as they already had some understanding of fighting but lacked in some areas. Piccolo had helped them refine their fighting styles and ki control. Sometime during the end of the training , the 2 had managed to ascend ssj and go ssj2. Piccolo was ecstatic though he didn't show it to the 2. He then spent most of the gime teaching them to perfect fusion he didn't want either of them to make any mistakes. They reached a point where their almost guaranteed to get the fusion right on the first try.
While the 2 could go ssj2 they had not yet mastered it. So for now it would be best not to use it in an actual fight. In ssj2 the 2 were about hakf the strenth of Gohan when he first went ssj2. Eventhough Piccolo had geown stronger he knew he was far from being a batch for someone like Super Perfect Cell. Maybe if it had been Cell when he first achieved his perfect form Piccolo might've stood a chance but right now he could only rely on the 2.
Goten and Trunks rush at cell who simply stares at the 2 amused before kicking trunks to the side and gut punching Goten. Just this one blow was enough to severely inkire the 2. They start coordinating their moves. They knew their opponent was far stronger than them, they look at each other and nod before taking a stance and yelling as a the golden aura around them intensifies. It's then revesled that the 2 turned into ssj2 this causes cell to grow even more interested as he asks the 2 to show him what they can do. Trunks rushes a attack at Cell who tries to counterattack by once again gut punching one of them, however this time a powerful ki blast rushes from behind him and connects to his back, throwing him of balance and lose his footing. Trunks takes this opportunity to fire a volley of ki blasts directly in Cells face bit even in ssj2 the 2 weren't on Cells lebel and just regular ordinary ki blasts wouldn't affect him much at all.
Piccolo seeing the situation growing more and more out of hand decides to tell the 2 to fuse while they still have the chance. He had seen the fusion of Goten and Trunks multiple times but he had never seen their full power. Despite that he believes that fusion would be more than enough to beat Cell.
Cell hearing this grows interested but learning his lesson from the last time decides that this time he's not going to take any chances. He rushes at the 2 kids and starts to brutally beat them to death. Piccolo knows he has to buy them time for the fusion dance to be completed. He hurriedly flies in their direction and takes off his weighted clothing, ready to buy as much time as possible for the 2. Cell ridicules Piccolo before exchanging blows with Piccolo who simply couldn't hold Cell back any longer.
Luckily by this time Goten and trunks had successfully completed the fusion technique in their place was Gotenks the fusion of Goten and Trunks. Gotenks due to his playfull nature decides to start of by creating rings which he calls galactic donuts which are then sent at Cell who is bound by the ring which grows tighter and tighter.
He then creates a bunch of ghost figures that resemble him and sends them to attack Cell before blowing up. The attack heavily injured Cell. Gotenks decides to turn ssj and blasts a barage of ki blasts which launches Cell back several meters away craahing into a building which collapses into rubble with some dust flying into the air.
