Chapter 167 - Side Story - 7 - Bellamy's Guilt

Bellamy's Point Of View

"Hey Bel, didn't think you'd finish everything so quickly." Meyhymn said, walking into my lab.

"Quick my ass. This took me 5 days. Because fucking Lyukhe has 4 damn Omegas! Greedy bastard..." I grumbled.

"Hahaha! Right. And what's that say about our dear little Tristan? Hmm?" Meyhymn chuckled.

I glared back, angrily.

On top of needing to make the inhibitors better, they also had to be put on the market. I was basically being told to go back to work by my wife.

Luckily I had Ezekihel and Synnahmen to test my products on. Ezekihel was mated now, so there was a chance that the effects would be different for him. Synnahmen was the next best thing.

On the third day, I finally got a good response from Synnahmen, so I began to make more in earnest. Even though I had to do the making, Torhrezz equipped my lab with packaging mechs.

Basically robotic arms that assisted with putting products in boxes or storing boxes. This lab was easily 50 times better than the one in Sayenrio.

"Did you need something, big guy?" I asked Meyhymn.

Ever since he mated that nuisance, he'd been walking around smiling and goofing off way more. I tried to be happy for him, but I just hated that shitty Omega too much.

"Oh that's right, Ferdinand told me to cone get ya. Said it was super important. I'll have Torhrezz ship these off, if you're done."

"Yeah. Just seal them. The addresses are already there. The last box being filled, ships to my company. Sit that blue folder in on top before sealing it." I said, pointing everything out.

"Right! I got it! I'll have some of the guys help. I didn't expect you to have 5 boxes."

"Well the situation kept updating. It was quite the annoyance. Make sure they get overnight shipping. No matter the cost I'll pay it, okay?"

"You got it brother. Ferdinand said to meet him in his room, by the way." Meyhymn said, picking up a box.

I nodded and left the lab. Unlike in Sayenrio, my lab here wasn't in the basement. I was on the first floor, near the back.

I headed up the stairs and to Ferdinand's room. Meyhymn hadn't clued me in on what the reasons were or what this was about, I just hoped that it wasn't stupid. I hadn't slept in two and a half days, and I couldn't promise not to lose my shit if this was a pointless conversation.

Our punishment was nearly over, and today was my day to be with Tristan. So I was feeling especially volatile.

I reached Ferdinand's door and knocked.

Only silence greeted me.

I leaned into the door to see if I could hear any sounds coming from inside, and it opened up immediately.

Ferdinand looked quite unkempt for once, and I immediately became nervous. It was so unlike the guy, it felt wrong.

"Hey. Meyhymn said you wanted to see me?" I asked, walking into his room.

Ferdinand let out a long sigh as he closed the door behind me.

"Yeah. Have a seat."

I didn't want to sit down, because I knew the chances of me getting back up again would rapidly decrease the longer I sat. But Ferdinand didn't seem to be in the mood for debating.

I sat on the edge of his bed, and looked up at him, expectantly.

"Listen very carefully, and try not to freak out. Okay?" He said, sitting beside me and running a hand through his hair.

"You saying that only makes me want to freak out more, y'know?"

"Just... try. Alright?"

"Sure, fine. Whatever. What the hell happened?"

"Tristan is pregnant. And although we can't be certain... I'm 99.9% sure it's by you."

The world took on a deafening tone. Ferdinand was still talking, but I couldn't hear a single thing he said. My ears were ringing, and my pulse was way too fast.

I had screwed up. Twice in one week. I had done something that Tristan had expressly voiced against, time and time again.

He likely wouldn't forgive me for this one. After all, it's not like I could take it back, or make it up to him. No amount of groveling or apologizing would make up for the mistake.

"Bel? Are you listening?"

I stood up immediately, searching our bond for Tristan's location.

"Bel? What the hell are you doing? Calm the hell down!"

I wasn't listening to a word he was saying. It didn't matter. The only thing that mattered was whether or not Tristan hated me. I could never endure another hateful kiss from him again.

I located Tristan in Cole's room, and immediately began to head that way. That is, until a strong hand gripped my arm.

"Where are you going? Have you been listening to me? I said calm down!"

"Ferdinand. You know we're cool, right? I'd never willingly want to fight you. I couldn't even guarantee that I'd win under normal circumstances. But these aren't normal circumstances, if you don't release me right now, I swear I will deck you into next week!" I said, with a glare.

Ferdinand sighed, but he let me go. I made my way out of his room, and over to Cole's. I could tell that Ferdinand was following close behind, but as long as he didn't try to stop me, he could do whatever he wanted.

I didn't knock on Cole's door, I opened it immediately. Cole and Sylvester's pheromones were cloying in the room, it was unbelievable. Tristan lay in their laps asleep, while they quietly watched over him.

When I entered the room, they both looked at me, then at Ferdinand.

"So you finally told him, huh?" Sylvester chuckled.

"Well, Meyhymn said he was basically done with all the injections now, so there was no reason not to." Ferdinand shrugged.

"He was really tired today. Khali said this will probably continue to be the case for at least a month." Cole sighed.

I walked closer to the bed, and Tristan immediately began to stir.

"Ngh... Bel?" He was murmuring in his sleep.

The fact that it was my name he was calling, filled me with so much warmth, that my pheromones flared immediately.

Tristan's eyes shuttered open instantly, and he looked up at me, confused. Then, he took in his surroundings and smiled.

"You told him, did you?" Tristan asked, looking up at Sylvester.

"Not me. Ferdi did." He chuckled.

Tristan groaned and sat up slowly. Then, he reached his arms out towards me.

I was momentarily speechless. I didn't think he'd allow me to touch him ever again. So I hesitated in my movements to reach him.

"Is it okay for me to touch you now?" I asked, cautiously.

"Hmm? You didn't tell him everything?" Tristan asked, looking at Ferdinand.

"I did... I just don't think he was listening. The initial shock was a bit overwhelming for him." Ferdinand sighed.

Tristan chuckled, then stood up. He walked towards me slowly on the bed, and reached out his arms again.

"You can come off of punishment now. You finished your tasks, and if I'm being honest, this kid kind of needs your pheromones." He said, as I scooped him up into my arms.

"You're not mad?" I asked.

"I was upset at first, but Khali explain a bit of information to me that kind of gives me hope."

"Information? Like what?"

"Well, for starters, Tahlia isn't an Omega. She's an Alpha. Without the injections from the facility, my children have the possibility of growing up naturally. My DNA is susceptible to change. Meaning, I can change the 2nd gender of my children up until they turn 4 years old. If left alone, they will grown naturally into what they should. There are a few traits that will be passed down from me to them, no matter what. Such as, an unbreakable bond, strong pheromones, and an unnatural sexual allure, but all in all it should be fine." Tristan explained, breathing me in.

I felt like the world was trying to correct itself over the injustice done to Tristan. And as long as he didn't hate me, I'd let the guilt eat me whole.

'A new kid, huh? Shit... I am so fucking screwed...'
