Tristan's Point Of View
"So, how'd it go?" Sylvester asked, as he picked me up again.
I wrapped my legs around his waist, and placed my head on his shoulder. My heart still hadn't stopped racing. I had been seriously worried about Kaleb.
"It's fine, I guess. Gaibe didn't seem like the type of guy to abuse Kaleb... He did seem extremely terrified though, so maybe I'll use that to my advantage." I said, feeling Sylvester shudder while in his arms.
"I can't believe it was Gaibe. Do you know how hard I had to hide my shock?!" Sylvester said.
I too, couldn't belive it. Out of all the people I imagined, he was not it. I was slightly relieved, but at the same time, extremely worried. Kaleb hated to be weak, and he hated to have to depend on others, so I knew he would brush off the issue at hand.
I just hoped that Gaibe didn't get distracted, and miss the telling signs.
