Nahana's Point Of View
I was in the parlor room with Meahlene, Odehssa, and Reah, while Jehstine was standing guard. We were talking about anything and nothing, reminiscing about the old days we shared with Torhrezz, and how we needed to get some new men for our harem. Suddenly, the doors opened, and in walked Lady Josephine. She looked sick, and anxious.
"Hey Meah, Odehssa... can I talk to you for a bit?" Lady Josephine asked, nervously.
"Sure. What's up, buttercup?" Meahlene asked.
"I'm told your team handled Danhiel...?"
"More or less. What's wrong?" Meahlene asked.
"Did you... let him live by chance?" Josephine asked, clearly worried.
"Well technically we left him alive, but he probably died from his wounds by now. Not to mention, we left him hanging upside as well." Meahlene cackled.
At that, Lady Josephine slumped to her knees, looking insanely terrified. It took everyone by surprise.
"Hey! Lady Josephine!? Are you okay?" I asked.
"Ngh... tell me, we're you just too pissed off to let it slide until we could utilize his usefulness? Or did it not matter to you?" Josephine asked looking up.
Her eyes were glowing in a swirling galaxy of plum and brown. It was beautiful, and also frightening. She seemed to be extremely pissed off, and on the verge of a breakdown.
"Well since Bellamy killed Chastaine, there was nothing else to worry about. So we just killed him too. Why are you so angry? That bastard deserved to die!" Meahlene asked, getting angry herself.
"You don't understand... his mother was never the problem... he has two uncles. One is on his mother's side the other on his father's. They are good friends with each other, and one –his name is Chazmen– works for the Legislators. The other –his name is Shaihffer– works for the Judicials." Josephine sighed.
Everyone present tensed up at this news, but none more than Jehstine. This was ridiculously big news, and we basically rang the dinner bell at the gates of hell.
"Wait! Are you certain of this!?" Jehstine asked running up to Josephine.
Lady Josephine nodded her head slowly.
"I wasn't certain when I had Raihne relay the message. But I did some digging afterwards, and there can be no doubt. Honestly, it might even be worse than I imagined because Chastaine is dead too. What happened with her other son?" Lady Josephine asked.
"I'm told Zachariah and his men handled that. Not sure how though..." Meahlene said.
Meanwhile, Jehstine was looking horrified beyond reason. It was justly so in my opinion. Danhiel was able to act so brazen because he had one uncle who created laws and guidelines for the citizens of Delgahtowe to follow. Meanwhile, the other uncle enforced them. He was basically untouchable. Well, at least he should have been.
"We need to warn the boss. When word gets out this place will become ground zero!" Jehstine said, rising to her feet.
"Well it wouldn't matter either way. We would have handled it the same way no matter what. If they want to have a family reunion in hell, I'll gladly make it so and send them all there in earnest!" Meahlene said, angrily.
"You're still not getting it. They could create a law that would have every rescued Omega returned, like government property. They could kill anyone harboring them and make it justified. They would never attack head on due to public persecution, but all they have to do is make the boys look like villains, and Tristan the most valuable prize and the world would come for them all." Josephine said, breathlessly.
Meahlene looked at her in horrified shock. I hadn't thought that all of that was possible, but looking at it objectively, it certainly seemed like a massive possibility. They could run any kind of propaganda, and the boys wouldn't be about to set foot outside without getting attacked. Anyone who knew them would also be at risk.
"So, to war with the world, then?" Meahlene asked, clenching her hands into tight fists.
"Most likely..." Josephine sighed.
"Well fuck 'em." I shrugged.
"Agreed." Jehstine said, angrily.

Chazmen's Point Of View
"Sir? The brass wants to know what we plan on doing about the facilities... Word is, that a second facility was raided, and decommissioned..." Serene asked.
"Well, I think they are fine for now. My brother's dream was to help Omegas, his wife's dream was to control them. In the end he died and she took over. I'm impartial to it all. What is there for us to do?" I asked.
"Surely you're joking. The least we could do is regulate the facilities. Put more Omegas in the streets to curb the deficiency. What good are these facilities when they just keep the Omegas for themselves and the wealthy. We need day to day citizens to procreate as well, don't we?" She demanded.
I was indifferent to all of it, because I was indeed one of the wealthy people who could get my hands on any Omega I wanted. My nephew even had a director's position in a facility that produced some of the most beautiful and lascivious Omegas I had ever seen.
"I'm not sure what law you think I could write that would help with that situation. Though I may be the Presidential Legislator, I cannot just make up laws on the fly. Especially laws that would have us sanction these hidden facilities outright." I waved dismissively.
"But if we do nothing, Delgaide and Lore'rahlye will not be the only casualties. Not to mention, the Omegas inside both facilities disappeared without a trace, and the doctors and directors were murdered!" Serene declared.
"Serene sweetie, you really give your namesake a bad rep– Wait... did you say Lore'rahlye?" I asked, standing abruptly.
"Yes, sir? Why?" She asked, not understanding my panic.
"All the directors were found dead?" I asked, taking her by the shoulders.
"Well, director Hastings was found dead in the tunnels. However, Rahzden and Danhiel were no where to be seen. Rahzden wasn't present for the attack. But according to the CCTV Danhiel and Hastings were in the facility at the time of attack." She replied.
I pulled out my phone and dialed Chastaine. Much to my dismay, it just rang. No one ever picked up.
"Pull up the CCTV for Blummond Vista Drive in Lore'rahlye! Now, please!" I yelled.
She complied at once. We headed over to the main monitors and she got to work typing in the information, and I watched the screens change impatiently.
Soon, my sister-in-law's house came into view, and I nearly screamed. It was a pile of rubble now, and it was clear that this wasn't as recent as it felt. There was no smoke, no fire, no traffic. The feed was silent.
"Do we know if there were any survivors from this estate?!" I asked, panicking.
Serene began to type some more, looking into databases and other systems to get the answers.
"Well I stumbled across a few articles. It says that a doctor Ohmier and Lady Chastaine were found dead in the home. And a man named Danhiel was found dead, hanging by his feet and ankles in a tree on the property... That's terrible..." She said shaking her head, as she continued to read.
"Does it say who was behind this attack? What about the whereabouts of a child named Ahliver?" I asked, growing impatient.
"It doesn't say who the attackers were or why it happened. It's being surmised that it was in correlation to the Lore'rahlye facility, but there is no definitive proof. Also, there is no information about Ahliver at all. No death mentioned and no capture, either." She said, confused.
Someone was playing a shell game, and I didn't appreciate how well they had covered it up. Nor was I particularly happy with how easily they demolished my sister-in-law's home. It was a veritable fortress, so there was no way this was done by random nobodies.
I heaved a weary sigh and pulled out my phone once again. Before I could call anyone, it began to ring in my hand.
"Hey, Shaihffer. I was just about to call you..." I sighed.
–Oh? What did you want to talk about? Lore'rahlye? That's the second facility now... I'm told I need to enforce more strict guidelines, but that seems nonsensical to me, don't you think brother?
"Shaihffer, listen. Chastaine is dead. Danhiel is dead. Ahliver is missing." I said, cutting right to the chase.
–Haaah... Your jokes are in poor taste as ever I see...
He said with a sigh.
"I wish I were joking little brother, but this is serious. I'm serious..." I replied.
–How is that possible? I just talked to her the other day. She was raving about getting her hands on the Golden Goose of Delgaide or something. What the hell do you mean she's dead!? Who would do such a thing!?
"Hold on. The Golden what?" I asked confused.
–I don't know I didn't bother to ask. She just kept bragging about how rich she was going to be, and the possibility of having another child.
None of this made any sense. There was information that we were missing. Or more accurately, information that was being hidden from us.
"Shaihffer, meet me at my house. We have much to discuss..." I said, before hanging up.
'I will get down to the bottom of this, and I will find my son. Then I'll make sure the ones who had a hand in the suffering of my family understand what true hell feels like...'
