Nahana's Point Of View
"We have secured some vehicles for you, Master Raihne. Please let us know if you need anything else." A tall man with long flowing purple hair said.
He was handsome, and completely decked out in a fitted suit. He was a drooling piece of eye candy, to say the least.
"Thanks, Marihaano. This should be enough." Raihne replied.
We all began to pile into the vans, as the men began to help put all the injured and wounded into the multiple ambulance trucks. The vans were fitted with car seats for the babies, and a booster seat for Joobehlee.
Once everyone was settled in, we began our drive to Ferdinand's second home. I was in a van with Delcain, Sable, Lady Josephine, Tahlia, Kaihsie, Raihne, Joobehlee, Luhnah, Reah, Soona, Jaihlah, Rohan, and Justus. Rohlander and Tysse were up front. Rohlander was driving, while Tysse sat in the passenger seat.
"Raihne...? What's Ferdinand's other home like?" Sable asked.
I had never been to Ferdinand's home in StohneGarrdin, so I couldn't help but be curious myself.
"Haha... Weeell... It doesn't have a playroom like the one in Sayenrio, but it's much bigger..." Raihne said, looking nervous.
"Wha...? How can it be bigger? The one in Sayenrio was already massive!" Sable exclaimed.
"Well, you have to understand... Ferdinand's faction was pretty large to start out with. When he had to move to StohneGarrdin, he wanted to have enough space for everyone. Ultimately, he grew tired of having all of his men around all the time... So he had two Guest homes built beside it instead." Raihne replied.
"So it's basically 3 houses!?" She asked, taken aback.
"More or less... The main estate has 47 rooms, 3 kitchens, 10 bathrooms, a Great room, a study, an indoor pool, a parlor equipped with a full bar, a gym which should aptly be referred to as a fitness center, a billard room, a living room, dining hall, and a library." Raihne replied.
I couldn't help but be shocked. Ferdinand's house sounded insane. It was pretty ridiculous to have such a massive home, but live alone. It sounded lonely, and somewhat terrifying.
"That's too damn much!" Delcain exclaimed.
"Haha. Well now you know why he wasn't too bothered about leaving it all behind for Tristan." Raihne chuckled.
The trip to the estate wasn't very long. We pulled onto a long and winding road that looked heavily secluded, and all but screamed military defense.
"We're almost there. You should be able to see the main estate soon." Raihne said.
Sure enough, a massive house began to come into view. If you asked me, Raihne had completely undersold the description of the house. The closer we got to it, the more it seemed to grow.
Everyone was staring at it with theirs mouths hung open, and their eyes as wide as saucers. I was no exception, the sheer size of the house was overwhelming.
Rohlander pulled the van up and parked it directly in front of the main doors. Once he and Tysse climbed out of the vehicle, they opened the side door for us. However, nobody moved a single inch.
"You all can get out now..." Rohlander said.
"Are we seriously going to live here?!" Luhnah asked.
"That's the plan." Tysse chuckled.
"I feel unfit to breathe the air around this place..." Jaihlah murmured.
"C'mon we'll show you around." Rohlander said.
We all slowly began to climb out of the van. I could tell the shock of the estate wasn't going to wear off anytime soon for any of us.
As we slowly walked up the stairs to the main doors, they opened on their own. I was momentarily shocked for a second time today.
"Torhrezz!? Holy shit! So this is where you've been hiding out all this time?!" I exclaimed.
He stared back at me, also in disbelieving shock. He was Ferdinand's uncle on his mother's side. Meahlene, Odehssa, and I had all grown up with him and Eirrahdessa, Ferdinand's mother. After the death of Eirrahdessa, Torhrezz had basically fallen off the map. We had all chucked it up to the grief of him losing his little sister.
"Nahana...? I never expected to see you here... What are you doing here, of all places?" He asked, walking up to me and giving me a hug.
"Introductions first. Kids, this is Ferdinand's uncle. He is the butler of this estate. So if you need anything, he's the man to ask. Torhrezz, this is Delcain, Sable, Joobehlee, Tahlia, and Kaihsie. They are the siblings of Ferdinand's mate." Raihne said.
"Wait just a moment... Ferdinand... is mated now? Just what the hell have I missed?" Torhrezz asked, taken aback.
"A lot my guy.... A lot..." Raihne sighed.
"Well come in, come in. I see there is much to discuss." Torhrezz said, opening the doors wide so we could enter the house.
He ushered everyone in, and then began to instruct the other servants standing nearby. There were about 20 men and women lining a nearby wall.
"Take the wounded to the rooms on the first floor. Two to a room if you would. Carry their luggage to the second floor and leave it in the loft area. Once they choose their rooms, then we'll assist them with unpacking. Mrs. Kristi it's a pleasure to see you again. You may rest up in your room, but I'm assuming you would rather keep busy?" Torhrezz said.
"You'd be correct." Mrs. Kristi chuckled.
The servants nodded and got straight to work. I couldn't focus on much of anything besides the beautiful spacious home we were in.
"These three women will take the children, they are very capable nannies." Torhrezz said.
Sure enough, the three ladies whisked the children away immediately falling for their adorable charm.
"Men, I'm sure you need no instructions. Go get settled in your rooms in the guest house. We only need the bare minimum of guards at the moment. Please help Sylvester's faction settle in too." Torhrezz said to all the men and women standing around.
They then turned and headed back outside to go claim their rooms and show Sylvester's faction around.
"Now, then you ladies look tired. Annette will show you to the women's guest house. I'm told there are a few Omega women in the group. The doctors can also get settled in there as well."
The others were ushered out, and soon it was down to just me, Delcain, Sable, Raihne, Lady Josephine, and Reah. Jehstine and Ahtlan agreed to watch over us with Raihne, since they planned to room in the main estate. No one argued with that decision.
"Now then, the rest of you follow me." He said heading further into the home.
We walked down a deep hallway. It was so long and ominous that it didn't feel like anyone actually lived here. My mind was also reeling at the fact that Torhrezz was even here right now. He looked good, all things considered. I wanted to know what he had been up to and how he wound up here.
We finally came to a stop at two oversized frosted glass doors. Torhrezz opened them by sliding them apart. Once the doors were completely opened, it was clear he had taken us to the parlor room. It had a massive wall to wall bar shelf, about 8 tables– some booths, and some bar tables– and two TVs.
"Young ones, what kind of drink would you like?" Torhrezz asked.
They pondered the question for just a bit, both Delcain and Sable looked torn on what they wanted to ask for. Eventually they each settled on a different soda, then chose a booth to sit at. Torhrezz got to work making the rest of us mixed drinks at the bar once he had made the drinks for the kids.
"Alright. Spill the tea. I want to know all the details. I don't want to be surprised when he gets here." Torhrezz said, shaking a container.
"Haaah... that's a tall order you know. I don't even know where to begin..." Raihne said.
We soon began to tell him our sides of the events of the past 3 weeks, ending with the assault on the Sayenrio home. Once we had finished, you could tell he had warring emotions. He no doubt felt some type of way about his sister's home being burned down.
"What's his mate like?" He asked, looking curious.
"He's the sweetest little thing. It's like a puppy tamed a giant beast." Lady Josephine cackled.
"Those boys are smitten with him. They will most likely be weak to him forever. From what I can tell, Tristan doesn't exactly live for himself. He's a giver of epic proportions." I said.
We all shared a laugh, and then I noticed Josephine looking somber as she downed the rest of her drink. She had been up and down with her emotions lately, and seemed to be on edge more often than not. I couldn't l see it slip by me anymore. All information was necessary information.
'I just hope we can catch our breaths first before shit hits the fan again.'
