Meahlene's Point Of View
"Odehssa, if any of them get to close I want you to handle it. Feel free to lend her a helping hand, boys." I said, as I wrenched Danhiel's head back.
"You really think you can take on the N.A.F.? Are you stupid!? They are federal agents!" Danhiel spat.
"Their titles are meaningless if they just do as they are told without getting proper information first. Anyone who would dare harm children just because they were instructed to, does not deserve to draw breath in this world!" I said, before slapping him hard across the face.
"Your hit is as weak as your beliefs." He grinned, smugly.
"Oho? Is that so? Ha! This will be fun." I said, then slammed the butt of my gun against his head.
He passed out instantly. I released his hair and allowed him to slump to the ground. When I looked up, I noticed Bennhayzin and a couple men approaching us.
"Could someone carry this asshole?" I asked no one in particular.
"What about the other guy?" Sylvester asked.
"Let him die. He doesn't deserve to live another day." I shrugged.
The other man made me sick just looking at him. He had no problem exposing young children to his obscene debauchery. Just thinking about what was seen on the monitor made my skin crawl.
"They're getting closer..." Odehssa said.
"We'll knock them all out. Everyone get into the office." Bennhayzin said.
"What about Lyukhe?" Ferdinand asked.
"We'll have him meet us around the front. Or go to him if he is still pinned down, once we get out of here." Bennhayzin replied.
At that, everyone headed to the office. Azailen picked up Danhiel by his legs and dragged him out behind him. Watching him get dragged out and occasionally hitting his head, was strangely cathartic. I had no sympathy for him. He had dared to attempt to rape Kaleb in front of Arrisa, and that was unforgivable.
Payhne carried Arrisa, Ferdinand assisted Nohrah, Sylvester assisted Kaleb, and Meyhymn carried Ezekihel. We quickly walked into the office as Bennhayzin launched a grenade into the tunnel and closed the door.
"I don't know if we will get the chance to blow this facility sky high. To be honest, I would like to get out of here as soon as possible. The more we stay here the less certain I am about our exit strategy. Everything seems to risky now that we have the kids..." Ferdinand said with a sigh.
He wasn't wrong. While I would love nothing more than to erase this facility from existence, I wanted to prioritize the children's safety even more. Everyone nodded in agreement and turned to face the door... or well, what should have been the door. Instead, it was a massive hole in the wall.
We all looked in Bennhayzin's direction and he raised his hands in surrender and shook his head.
"Don't look at me. This was Santiago and his team." He said, pointedly.
We looked back at the hole in shocked surprise. They really had been desperate to reach us. I couldn't be more proud of those boys. They had been thoroughly prepared.
We all slowly exited the room and then stopped in shocked surprise once again.
"Jeez... they frikkin overdid it..." Sylvester groaned.
"But without them, we would have been screwed. So don't beat yourself up too much." Azailen chuckled.
We began to walk towards the ramp leading up to the first floor. As we reached the ramp, we heard the shuffling of feet behind us. The boys turned on a dime and aimed their guns at the sound.
Santiago rounded the corner from the lower level, carrying a boy who looked no older than 16, in his arms. He was carrying him with so much caution and care, it would be endearing if he actually knew the boy. However, it was as clear as day that he didn't actually know the boy and was terrified of something.
"Is the facility cleared?" Sylvester asked Santiago.
Santiago looked up in startled surprise. It was as if he hadn't even realized we were all standing here. The man had been moments away from dying, and he hadn't even realized it.
"Uh, yes Master. This boy was the last one. Lahnsen escorted the women and children out of here a bit earlier." Santiago replied, looking back down at the boy in his arms.
The boy looked at us and flinched. He then turned into Santiago's chest, trembling. It was a peculiar situation, to say the least.
"Is something wrong, Santiago?" Sylvester asked, looking like he had caught on to a major secret.
Sylvester had a smug grin on his face as he looked between the boy and Santiago. Santiago looked up at Sylvester and flinched. Then he looked back at the boy and sighed.
"I... am at a loss of what to do Master..." Santiago said with an uneasy sigh.
I couldn't be too sure about what happened between them, but it was clear that Santiago had become smitten with the boy. I didn't know much about Santiago. Most of Sylvester's faction was shrouded in mystery, but Santiago wasn't bad looking. In fact if he was a tad bit less dominant, I probably would have brought him into my harem.
"Haha... I can't recall a single time that you've been focused on something other than a mission, Santi. You can keep him if you want. BUT, only if he wants to be kept. We will not act like the animals in this facility. Once he's been properly fed and cared for, have a talk with him. It's a bit much to do that now, no?" Sylvester teased.
"It is as you say, Master..." Santiago sighed.
"Let's get the hell out of here." Meyhymn said.
"Agreed..." Payhne replied.
We began to ascend to the first floor, and noticed a congestion of Omegas by the main doors. The pheromones permeating the air were a problem.
"Tohrque...? What the hell is going on?" Sylvester asked.
"Master, the N.A.F. has Waihlynn and Aidehynn pinned. He said he would signal when they had it under control. Lahnsen went to assist, but we still haven't received any word of their situation." Tohrque replied, clearly worried.
"Sit tight. We'll go sort this shit out. Bennhayzin, Sylvester, and Azailen you come with me. Everyone else, protect the rear." Ferdinand said, as he strode towards the doors.
It was clear as day, that he was becoming increasingly unhinged. It was no doubt due to the fact that Tristan had been abducted, and he was unable to go to his side.
'Well... I can't say I'm too worried about it. If what I heard was true, they would locate him in no time. I didn't raise a damsel. Go save your mate, son.'

Ferdinand's Point Of View
I waded through the sea of Omegas. I didn't quite understand it, but being near this many Omegas made my skin crawl. Moreover, it only made me miss my mate all the more.
Under the surface, I was absolutely seething. To think Naithynn would challenge me in such a way. It was unthinkable. I also had a few choice words for his brothers, who didn't think to explain their brother properly.
I readied my gun as I approached the doors. The Omegas near me shrank back in fear. I couldn't be bothered to reassure them, I had nothing but murder and elimination on my mind.
I kicked open the left side door, and saw Waihlynn and Aidehynn firing at the sea of soldiers charging at them. I reached behind me to the two grenades I had attached to my utility belt. Then I launched one directly into the crowd of men.
The explosion sent them flying in all directions. I then began picking them off one by one. Waihlynn and Co. turned to look at us in shock, as Bennhayzin and Sylvester began to fire as well.
We had whittled their numbers down considerably, but there was still a large number of them remaining. I was becoming more and more irritated by the minute. Suddenly, there was a strange cease fire. The men began to flee in the opposite direction in earnest. They didn't even check on the wounded or injured.
"Hollehen, get the truck!" Waihlynn yelled.
"Understood!" Hollehen replied.
I didn't understand why the N.A.F. was retreating so abruptly, but I wouldn't argue with it. Hollehen positioned a semi in front of the doors, and they began to load all of the Omegas into it in earnest.
*BZZZ... BZZZ.... BZZZ...*
"Yes...?" I asked hesitantly, as I answered my phone.
The number was an unknown private number, so I couldn't be sure who was on the other end.
–Master Ferdinand... it's me Jahcobe. I recalled the N.A.F. under false pretenses. You guys have exactly 20 minutes to get out of there before they realize it.
"Oh, I see. Good timing. They were all about to die. We are loading up the Omegas now. Any word on the status of Bellamy and Cole?" I asked.
–No. The last update was that they headed out via helicopter to track Naithynn down. The DPD is also setting up road blocks and assisting as well.
"Okay, good. Keep me updated." I replied.
–If you don't mind me asking, where do you plan to take all of the Omegas? It will be some time before we can get enough vehicles to Lore'rahlye...
"That's a damn good question... I'll have to get back to you on that..." I sighed.
–Lyukhe has a hotel on the border of Lore'rahlye and Demhongade... I could pull a few strings... Though some of them may need to double up in the rooms...
"I'll talk it over with the others and get back to you. You just do what you can for Bellamy, Cole, and the others... Please..."
–Understood. Best of luck to you, then.

I turned to face the men slowly approaching me. Overhead I heard multiple Helos coming in.
–This is Lyuke. The N.A.F. pulled out so we got out of there too. I abandoned the bus... too much work trying to reattach it with so few people. I have 4 Omegas with me, and Nashsten as well.
–This is Ryhan. We were able to safely evacuate the back end of the facility. What are your orders?
–This is Dohnvie. The left side has been evacuated as well.
All the Helos were coming back from the other locations fully intact. It was a small blessing, but one I was truly grateful for.
"What's the plan now?" Sylvester asked.
I knew what I wanted to do. However, it differed from what needed to be done. All I wanted to do was hold Tristan again, but fate had other plans...
'Haaah this is such a pain... Things never seem to go as planned...'
