Bellamy's Point Of View
I was staring down at the second letter, and I just couldn't believe my eyes. I was hesitant to hand it over to Tristan. He would no doubt want to go, and that action would damn us all. However, just as Ferdinand and Sylvester said, if he stayed here then they would no doubt come for him here.
Ferdinand was the biggest threat in terms of strength and man power. If he went to Demhongade alone, word would spread like wild fire. Zachariah said he'd do what he could, and that Ferdinand might not need his help. But what Monarch played favorites with its subjects, that was an easy way to get killed or dethroned.
I had only met Zachariah once, and it was at Ferdinand's parents funeral. He was terrifying back then and he was only 10 years older than us. I wasn't sure what the history behind Ferdinand and Zachariah was, but this whole situation made me uneasy.
"Bellamy, can I see the other one?" Tristan asked, his soft voice cutting through my thoughts.
I held the letter tightly for a moment then let out a heavy sigh. I handed it over to Tristan and he began to read it aloud.
"Dear Ferdinand,
I know the summons has you second guessing everything. I would too. You are more than welcome to bring your mate as a plus one. I will do all that I can to help you protect them, if necessary. Though you have always been a formidable, and quite capable Alpha, so I can't imagine I'd be very helpful, but the offer still stands. I wish I could say the meeting isn't necessary, however it will determine you and your mate's future so not attending is no longer an option for you. I have the utmost respect for you my friend. So I would like to give you the chance to say your peace to anyone foolishly considering taking you on. I wish you all the best old friend. May we see each other again soon.
Your Grand Monarch, Zachariah."
"Hmm... he seems like a nice guy... but just like the rules, he seems to say things without saying them.... like saying he'll do all that he can to help you protect me, but what if he can't do anything. Wouldn't that be like showing favoritism to your Kings? Would that not undermine his authority and make it easier for the other Kings to break the rules?" Tristan asked, perplexed.
I was stunned silent, and I wasn't the only one. He was correct. While I had a similar thought pattern, Tristan's was much deeper. I was speechless.
"I mean I don't really know this guy but... this letter basically says, "Hey old friend, fight for yourself. Make a good case. Don't overdo it. I'll referee...." Tristan said pointedly.
Ferdinand's and Sylvester's eyes were as round as saucers. They had no doubt read into the flowery words too, but didn't look deeper. Tristan was the only one to view it that way because he was essentially an objective third-party viewer.
*Knock...*
"Bellamy... Ferdinand... We need to talk." Nahana said as she opened the door.
"I really wish you guys would give us time to respond..." I groaned.
"Meh, I listened in first. If you were getting spicy, I would have waited." She shrugged walking into the room.
"Haaaah... What do you need Nahana? We're kind of busy right now." I said.
"Well, Stellah just arrived she's picking her room in the women's lodging house. Khali and Co. Have officially settled in, I told them to make a list of anything they need or are missing and you'd get it for them. Hm...? What else... There was something else... uhm...? OH! Right someone is here to see you, Ferdinand. He said his name was Bennhayzin... The Sleepy King...? No... The Lazy King?"
At that everyone jumped at the name. Everyone one but Tristan who sat in shocked confusion at everyone's sudden movements.
"Wait what's going on? Who is that? And why do you all look so ridiculously panicked?" Tristan asked.
"Where is he?" Ferdinand asked forcefully.
"Uhm... well about that... he was threatening the men at the gate so Meahlene escorted him to the lounge room." Nahana replied.
"Fuck!" Ferdinand exclaimed.
"Cole go get Meyhymn right now. Have him meet us in the lounge. Without the Omega." Sylvester said. Cole took off immediately.
Ferdinand scooped Tristan up immediately and headed for the door. Tristan however had other plans.
"No! Stop moving me without explanation! Tell me what's going on?!" Tristan yelled, taking Ferdinand's face in both his hands.
"Listen Tristan. When we get down there try not to say anything. Bennhayzin is the Mafia King of Delgaide. Honestly he's the only one who could rightfully take you back without violating any laws or rules. I suspect that he hasn't because he just never cared enough before. He was nicknamed the Lazy King for a reason." Ferdinand replied sternly.
This information sucked all the fight out of Tristan instantly. Unfortunately, it also had the opposite effect on him as well.
"I don't want to go then. What if I've met him? What if he takes an interest in me? I don't want to, I'm way too scared!" Tristan exclaimed as he thrashed about.
"Tristan, understand that I would never bring you if I didn't already know this man. He won't leave without seeing you. There is a silver lining with him coming to me however..." Ferdinand replied.
"Yeah, where's that faith in your capable Alphas at? He came to Ferdinand's house, meaning if he steps out of line we could still kill him. It's just not ideal considering the summons we already received." Sylvester added.
"Just do as I say and don't say a word unless he speaks directly to you. And try to reign in your pheromones. We can't risk giving you a suppressant and it makes them flare like before." Ferdinand said, kissing Tristan's face all over.
I couldn't agree that this was a good idea. Nahana wasn't exactly good at sensing danger. So it was impossible to gage why he was here and what he wanted.
'Haaah... Fucking Mafia Kings...'

Danhiel's Point Of View
"Sir, we have word that Zachariah is calling a meeting of the Kings." Rehmy yelled running up behind me.
"He's what?! Why? For what purpose would he undermine me so forcefully!?" I yelled.
"I'm not sure on the details. I was told that he summoned all of his Kings and they are to assemble this weekend." Rehmy said nervously.
"All you say? That would imply Ferdinand and Sylvester as well right?" I asked.
"Ah, yes. The Mafia Kings of StohneGarrdin and Sa'Ryne wouldn't be able to refuse a summons from Zachariah, sir..." He replied.
"Good. This is good. Now the question remains, will he take his mate or leave him at home?" I pondered.
"I apologize sir, I was not privy to that information..."
"Well we need to know. Splitting our forces won't be hard but having more is always better. If the boy is left at home there's no telling what they would set up as a means of protection." I groaned.
"Well if he does choose to take the Omega, security will be thin. I'm told they are only allowed to bring 2 guards each. He would be severely outmatched and unprotected." Rehmy explained.
"Oh? A limit on the muscle, huh? That makes things much harder to determine." I replied.
"What do you mean sir?"
"Ferdinand might sense the dangers in leaving him at home, however the best way to protect him is to do it yourself. So he would also want to take his mate along. But with the lack of men, it would be quite the unreasonable task to bring his mate to such a dangerous place." I said.
"But sir, if you try to wage war in Demhongade, Zachariah would surely take action. What if the meeting is over the Omega to begin with? Would you go to war with Zachariah?" Rehmy asked fearfully.
"That idiot made a promise to my old man. We've been keeping it from the public to keep the facilities from imploding, but my old man is dead now. There is no one keeping me from what I desire. That Omega was promised to me by my father, I'm just trying to claim the gift that was stolen." I shrugged.
My father was a bleeding heart for the Omegas. He worked tirelessly trying to get proper human rights for them and fair housing and living for them.
When he first made the facility in Demhongade, it was a shelter for Omegas. A rehabilitation center to get them back on their feet. My mother hated Omegas with a passion, due to my father's overwhelming compassion for them. Once he became too ill to leave his bed, mother redesigned the facilities into absolute breeding grounds.
The goal was to create more Omegas, the problem was the Omega birthed more Betas than Alphas or Omegas. So one doctor suggested DNA splicing, and thus the facilities grew in number and population.
The goal then shifted to creating an Omega that only birthed Alphas and Omegas. It had taken over 40 years, but Tristan was finally created. Unfortunately, Director Kahrmazin became greedy and ignored all proper protocol. Thus Tristan fled from his facility. A lamentable action indeed.
