Chapter 54 - Chapter - 54 But... You Promised...

Ferdinand's Point Of View

"You should really fix that bad habit of yours Syl, seriously." I said, standing up out of the tub.

"What? It doesn't bother you even a little bit that he doesn't remember anything from last night?" Sylvester said pouting.

"No because my feelings won't change and I already know he loves us so what's the big deal?" I asked.

"C'mon, he was an absolute force of nature last night. I passed out still inside him. And I was still hard when I woke up! That's insane!" He yelled.

"You act like you don't actually know your mate anymore. Stop doing unnecessary shit Syl..."

"Fiiine..." He said pouting, as he dried his hair.

I wrapped a towel around my waist and walked out of the bathroom heading for my closet.

Entering my closet I chose a plain basic outfit with black shorts and a red shirt. When I walked out of my closet, Tristan was already dressed in his pajamas, and Bellamy was also dressed. Cole was sitting behind Tristan drying his hair.

"Bel I'm going to go help the guys set up the clinic. When will the chairs and stuff for the lounge be here?" I asked.

"Hm... 9 and 10am. I'll go with you." He replied.

"Take me with you Ferdinand." Tristan said.

Everyone stopped to look at him in shock. I couldn't imagine that being a good idea. It wasn't just Betas down there helping with the set up of the clinic.

"Ah, I'm not sure that's a good idea..." I replied.

"But... you promised..." He groaned.

"I what now?" I replied, confused.

I certainly hadn't promised that I would take him to the clinic installation. That would have been a stupid idea on my part. The possibility of killing my men would sky rocket. Most of them had never even seen Tristan or his siblings before. Especially the ones who weren't usually allowed inside the mansion.

"You promised to do whatever I said yesterday. I may not remember much after that, but I definitely remember you promising that in order to go to Maihzdin with Sylvester." Tristan said with a glare.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think this would be what he would ask for. I could only stand there in shock, trying to find a way, any way to get out of this predicament.

"Sylvester promised too, so one of you better pick me up right now and do as I say. You owe me!" He glared, his pheromones were getting stronger.

He was actually mad. I could feel it on a subconscious level, and I already felt defeated. There was nothing I could do. There was only one answer I could give him.

"Fine, you can come. But tone down your pheromones, I'd like to avoid killing any of my men if possible..." I groaned.

"Yay! Okay!" Tristan exclaimed, perking up in an instant.

'Haaah... That smile is going to be the death of me. I just know it...'

Tristan's Point Of View

Ferdinand looked like he was seconds away from crying, but I couldn't be bothered by it. I had been sequestered to their rooms or the theater for over a week. I only got to see the second and third floors, and the dining room of the mansion. So I was excited to go.

Ferdinand let out a heavy sigh and gently picked me up. I looked up at him with a big satisfied smile, and he grimaced.

"You sure I can't talk you out of this...?" Ferdinand asked with a sigh.

"I'm sure! Now onward to the clinic!" I yelled laughing.

"Haaah... Nothing good can come from you going..." He groaned.

"Well I have to go sign the Deed and pay for the new property around noon, and nothing good can come from him staying alone with Sylvester. So I don't really think you have a choice." Cole said.

This news only made Ferdinand grimace harder. He looked back at Sylvester with a glare.

"Must you be such a child all the time?" Ferdinand asked with a glare.

"Is it childish to want your mate to think about fond memories?" Sylvester replied with a lascivious grin.

"Haaah... fucking child..." Ferdinand mumbled, then headed out the door.

He descended the stairs at a leisurely pace, taking care not to jostle me too much, while I gripped his shirt tightly. I looked up at him quizzically, curious about something.

"Did you profess your love to me too, last night?" I asked softly.

"More or less... you were extremely... incorrigible..." He sighed.

"I'm sorry... I would like to remember things like that, but the way my body feels... I'd rather not..." I replied.

"It's fine... I'll tell you everyday if you want." He said kissing my face all over.

"Ahaha... that's a bit much, no?" I said.

"Of course not. I love you... I love you... I love you, Tristan... Forever and always..." He said kissing me, repeatedly.

"Okay, Okay... Jeez, you're so embarrassing..." I said, covering his mouth with my hands.

We reached the first floor and rounded the left corner. I had never been this way before, so I tried to take in the sights. Unfortunately, as we rounded the corner there was a commotion in the hallway full of men.

"We need the boss or Bellamy, so we know where to put what!" One man said.

"Okay genius, but who the fuck is going to go up there? Cuz it ain't me!" Another replied.

"Well Jasper, Hoaruhs, and Roh went to the other house already, someone's gotta man up and bite the bullet!" Another man said.

"No thanks! From what I heard last night from Hoaruhs, that bullet might be literal..." Someone groaned.

"BOSS!? G-Good Morning, Sir!" A man said, as he spotted us.

I could feel Ferdinand's deep embarrassment at the conversation and I wanted to laugh, however the unanimous gasp they all did upon seeing me, stopped me in my tracks.

"You all seem lively today. Does that mean everything will also be finished today as well?" Ferdinand asked, in a threatening tone.

All the men present flinched and averted their eyes. They clearly didn't want to agree to such an unreasonable request.

"Haaah... boys, this is my mate, Tristan. He wanted to see the new clinic." Ferdinand said.

I smiled and waved as all eyes focused on me. They weren't predatorial eyes, they weren't even lustful eyes. It was more shock and acceptance than anything else.

"Congratulations, Boss... It's nice to meet you Tristan. I'm Tysse." A man with long blue hair said.

He was tall and pretty handsome, but like Ferdinand, he looked like he would kill without hesitation.

"Congratulations, Boss. Hello Mini Boss, I'm Dahnnie."

"Hello, I'm Jaihme."

"Hey, I'm Gillian. It's nice to meet you."

"I'm Benjahmin. Hello."

"Hello, I'm Tyhlr."

"Yo, I'm Ahriel."

"Good Morning, I'm Solomon."

"Good Morning, young master. I'm Zaire."

"Alright, alright. You've all touched my mate now. So back off." Ferdinand said, glaring at them all.

"Hahaha. Don't mind him, he's just jealous. It's nice to meet you all. I'll try to remember your names going forward, but I make no promises. Now who's going to show us around?" I said.

They all shot their hands up and I burst out laughing again. This really was too comical. Especially since Ferdinand wasn't the only jealous one among my Alphas.

"I'll show you around. You guys get back to work..." Bellamy groaned.

"Aw... such a party pooper..." I pouted.

"Do you want me to murder the help?" Bellamy asked in a soft voice, while glaring at me.

"What I want is for you to relax. Jeez. Honestly, I don't feel uncomfortable at all when they look at me. It's totally different from what I'm used to. They really love and respect Ferdinand. It's honestly pretty amusing." I replied.

It was true. Being near them was no where near as uncomfortable as the club or the facility. They genuinely seemed to love and respect Ferdinand. It was amusing, seeing them line up just to greet me. Even more so, when they looked around hesitantly, unsure of what to do next.

"Haaah... Fine. Whatever." Bellamy sighed.

"Yay! Okay. Lead the way fellas. C'mon Ferdinand, onward!" I exclaimed, happily.

"This is Room #1. It is basically used for intake, or for lack of better words, it's the waiting room. There will be chairs lining these two walls, they will arrive a bit later. And those two desks will be where the intake interviews happen." Tyhlr said walking around.

"This door leads to Room #2." Another man said.

"Oh, thank you. Uhm...?"

"I'm Gillian." He said with a small chuckle.

"Oh, thank you, Gillian." I replied.

We walked through the door and into the second room, and I immediately flinched. It wasn't identical, but I could tell I would never like this room. It was similar enough to the rooms in the facility, where they would strap us to beds for all sorts of reasons.

"This is Room #2. It's more of a room to be seen by the doctors. If the issue is not life threatening, then a doctor will see and treat you here. Also my name is Zaire." The guy said, bowing and backing up towards the wall.

"Thanks, Zaire. Unfortunately, I don't like this room very much. Nothing against the obvious good work you all have done... Juuust not my favorite place." I said, trying hard not to look at the lined up beds.

"Okay then, on to the final room." Ferdinand said, walking towards the stainless steel double doors.

I instantly tensed up. I had seen doors like this all my life, and nothing good ever happened behind them. Ferdinand notice my apprehension a bit too late as he stepped inside the room.

The room was currently empty, however the chilly air and stainless steel walls made harrowing memories resurface instantaneously.

"No. I'd like to leave now." I said, turning my head into Ferdinand's chest and squeezing his shirt tighter.

"Okay, we're going now." He replied, walking briskly out of the room.

"Boss...? Is the mini boss okay?" Dahnnie asked as soon as we were in the hallway again.

I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding and felt the tears stinging my eyes. I took in deep breaths of Ferdinand's warm leather and vanilla scent, trying to calm down.

"He'll be fine, thanks Dahnnie. Talk with Bel on how to set up the 3rd room. Were you guys able to unload the vans?" Ferdinand asked, rubbing my back.

"Yes, Sir. Would you like to take him to the lounge. There are a few chairs and a coffee table in there already. The sofas, microwave, TV, coffee maker, and dining table will be here in an hour or so." Dahnnie said.

"Yeah... thanks." Ferdinand replied.

"I'm going to head over to the other house now. I'll be back a bit later okay, Tristan?" Cole asked, giving me a kiss.

"...Okay..." I murmured.

He walked back towards the front door, and then Bellamy approached me next.

"I have to go help them set up, don't think about unnecessary things, you hear me? It's not the same place. We aren't the same people. We love you dearly, Tristan. Don't forget that." Bellamy said, before kissing me as well.

"Love you too, Bel..." I replied softly.

"Dahnnie, tell the guys I'm in the lounge if they need me." Ferdinand said, walking into a room diagonally from the 1st room.

He and Sylvester sat in chairs next to each other, looking at me worried. I didn't have anything to say that would make the situation better. The memories and voices that room exposed were still swirling around in my head.

"Tristan, you hungry?" Sylvester asked.

I looked over at him, and gave a half smile. I knew he was just trying to cheer me up, so I nodded.

"I want the good stuff... Please?"

"You got it." He winked.
