Delcain's Point Of View
I made my way back to my room, hoping to get some rest before our family dinner. Today had been a serious mental drain, and I was both physically and mentally burned-out.
As I opened my door and walked inside, I felt a strong presence at my back. Without turning around, I let out a deep sigh.
'I seriously don't have the energy for this right now...'
"Did you need something?" I asked, walking to my bed and plopping down face first onto it.
"You didn't even flinch. How did you know it was me?" A smooth, rich, and honeyed voice asked. The sound resonated inside my skull.
'Because your presence is unmistakable!'
"There's no one else it could've been. If Kaleb was still here, I might have second guessed myself. But he's not, and you're too persistent..." I grumbled.
