Sable's Point Of View
"Hey, Syn... Look who's here?" I said, as we all entered the Great Room.
Synnahmen had been a pale, nervous wreck, for a while now. He wouldn't let go of Santiago's hand until we coerced him to. I knew that he was scared, but I had no words of comfort, because I was equally terrified.
"Oh, Syn... Sweetie, its okay... C'mon, it's not that bad... Do you know why?" Ezekihel asked, as he sat down and hugged him close.
Syn weakly shook his head, before resting it on Ezekihel's chest. Ezekihel took it all in stride, and chuckled while stroking Synnahmen's hair gently.
"This house is chock-full of strong, fierce, and capable men. Even in the event of a capture, they'd burn this world to the ground for our safe return. Have faith in the Alpha you chose, and have faith in the family that accepted you." Ezekihel said, taking Syn's chin.
