I had to agree, their pheromones were a touch too much, but I sure as hell wasn't going to be the one to say anything. Those guys had been staring holes into Naithynn and Rahzden the whole time.
Even if I knew they deserved it, even if they brought this upon themselves, the thought of seeing Ferdinand rip their throats out like those helpless men yesterday, unnerved me.
I didn't want to plead on their behalf, but I also didn't want to watch them die, either. There was only one person crazy enough to threaten these guys right now, and he was doing a wonderful job.
