In the dimly lit chamber of the BlackOrder's main base, the oval table at the center of the room served as the focal point for the meeting. The air was filled with anticipation as Johnatan sat with Lemes, Lebuna, and Laron, each of them wearing their new formal attire. The gravity of the moment was palpable; this was more than just a meeting—it was the beginning of a new chapter.
Johnatan leaned forward, his eyes scanning the faces of his trusted companions.
"Lemes,"
he began, his voice is calmed and friendly
Johnatan smiled and tapped lemes's shoulders
"I appoint you as my right-hand man. You will be the backbone of this island, the protector of all we've built here. Your duty is to ensure the safety of our people and the security of our resources."
Lemes nodded, his expression resolute. He understood the weight of the responsibility placed upon him, and he was ready to fulfill his role with unwavering dedication.
"I won't let you down, Johnatan," he replied firmly.
Turning to Laron, Johnatan continued,
"Laron, you will be my wiseman and my companion on the journey ahead. Your knowledge and wisdom will be invaluable as we explore the world and seek out others to join our cause."
Laron tilted his head slightly, curiosity sparking in his eyes.
"Where will this journey take us, Johnatan?"
Johnatan paused, contemplating the vastness of the world beyond their island.
"It's still undecided,"
he admitted,
"but I will be traveling across the world to find people worthy of sitting in these eight chairs. They will earn their place as one of the 'Eight Phases of Guardians.'"
Lebuna, who had been listening intently, leaned forward.
"And what qualifications must one possess to earn these seats?"
Johnatan met her gaze, his expression thoughtful.
"They must be individuals with great potential, but who have been unfortunate—forgotten or forsaken by the world. They are the ones who aim to be the best, not only for themselves, but to help the weak and protect those who cannot protect themselves."
Lebuna nodded slowly, understanding the gravity of Johnatan's mission.
"And what about my role, Johnatan? What will I be responsible for?"
Johnatan smiled slightly, realizing he had forgotten to explain a term that was familiar to him but foreign in this world.
"Lebuna, you will be my secretary."
Lebuna's brow furrowed in confusion.
"Secretary? I've never heard that word before. What does it mean?"
Johnatan chuckled softly at his oversight.
"A secretary is someone who manages and holds all the records in an organization. You will be responsible for keeping track of everything—documents, information, and any important decisions we make. In addition, you will be the supervisor of the shamans, since Laron will be accompanying me on my journey."
Lebuna's face brightened with understanding.
"I see. I will do my best to fulfill this role."
The three of them sat in silence for a moment, absorbing the significance of the tasks they had been entrusted with. There was a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose in the room, a bond that had been forged through their trials and triumphs.
Johnatan finally broke the silence, his voice filled with warmth.
"I'm grateful to have you all by my side. Together, we will build something extraordinary—something that will change the world."
In the continent of Alevion, within the kingdom of Brittania—the largest of the Seven Kingdoms—a man in a tight robe adorned with several glyphs and runes walks through the corridors of the royal palace. As he moves along the second-floor corridor towards a room, people below—children, women, and families—greet him warmly.
"Merlin!"
Merlin smiles and waves at them before proceeding to walk into the room. Inside, Arthur, the King of Brittania, greets him with a playful scolding for his bad habit of being late.
"You're late again, Merlin,"
Arthur says with a smirk.
Merlin chuckles and, in his usual light-hearted manner, jokes,
"Oh, Arthur, you know I can't help it. Besides, being your brother should earn me some leniency."
Arthur rolls his eyes but can't help but smile at Merlin's humor.
The meeting is about to commence, with Arthur and Merlin joined by the rulers of the other six kingdoms. Together, they are the leaders of the Seven Kingdoms, each with their own unique strengths and responsibilities.
The meeting commenced with an air of solemnity and purpose. One of Arthur's advisors stood before the gathered rulers, his voice echoing through the grand hall as he introduced each of the kings present.
"First, King Arthur Merdragon, 'The Sword and Shield,' rightful ruler of Brittania and the head of the Seven Kingdoms of Alevion,"
the advisor announced with a respectful bow towards Arthur.
Arthur nodded, his expression firm and resolute as the leader of this powerful alliance.
The advisor continued,
"King Lionnel Alberts of the Kingdom of Archeus,"
a tall, imposing figure with a regal demeanor, acknowledged the introduction with a slight nod.
"King Edward Lance, 'The Dragon Slayer,' from the Kingdom of Carderon," the advisor said next.
King Edward, a warrior known for his fierce battles against mythical beasts, met the eyes of his fellow rulers with a calm yet intense gaze.
"King Percival Varrlord, 'The Sun Walker,' of the Kingdom of Vireus,"
Percival, a man with a radiant presence, was known for his wisdom and connection to the light, a source of guidance for his people.
"King Tristan Oswin of the Kingdom of StormGlaze,"
the advisor continued. Tristan, a ruler who commanded the stormy seas and the turbulent skies, was a stoic figure, his expression unreadable as he listened intently.
"King Eustace Emirys of the Kingdom of Alden Keep,"
the advisor introduced next. Eustace, known for his strategic mind and keen intellect, gave a curt nod, his eyes sharp with focus.
Finally, the advisor introduced,
"King Audric Thames, 'The Engineer,' from the Kingdom of Emmerich." Audric, a master of innovation and technology, smiled slightly, his mind already racing with thoughts on how to contribute to the discussions ahead.
The seven kings were seated around a grand, circular table, with Merlin at Arthur's side. The tension in the room was palpable as Arthur began,
"As we all know, Merlin's visions have an uncanny accuracy."
The kings nodded in agreement, their faces grave. Merlin's predictions had shaped much of their recent history, and there was little reason to doubt his words now.
Merlin, his expression somber, spoke next.
"In the future, Alevion will burn."
A collective gasp rippled through the room. Only Arthur and Merlin seemed unaffected, their faces set in grim determination.
Merlin continued,
"Demons, monsters, and dark creatures will be the cause of this devastation. At the helm of this chaos is a man cloaked in black flames."
King Tristan, his voice steady but with a hint of urgency, asked,
"When will this happen?"
Merlin shook his head.
"The exact timing is still unknown, which is why we have taken measures. We have summoned ten heroes of Brittania and one champion from the Divine Knights from another world."
King Eustace leaned forward, his brows furrowed.
"What world did they come from?"
Arthur answered,
"A world called Earth. We know little about it, but the heroes we've summoned have confirmed that it is their origin."
King Lionnel, ever practical, asked,
"And what are your plans for these heroes?"
Merlin introduced the emblems, small, intricately designed symbols that glowed with a faint magical aura.
"These emblems are designed to draw out the potential of these heroes, to help them train, level up, and gain the power necessary to defend our kingdoms."
Arthur added,
"The Divine Knights have long been the most formidable force in Brittania. Their general, Fyrion Windskar, requested a champion from Earth, and so Merlin summoned one—Rose Cassidy."
The mention of Rose Cassidy made Jonathan's heart skip a beat and tears fell off of him in the distant island. Though separated by worlds, the memory of her, his unrequited love from his past life, lingered, even in this new and dangerous reality.
Arthur stood, his presence commanding the attention of the room.
"I have gathered you all to guide the heroes and take them along with your raids into the monster zones of your respective kingdoms. This will help them gain experience and grow stronger, except for Rose Cassidy. She will remain here, under the direct training of Fyrion, and join the Divine Knights in raiding Brittania's monster zones."
The kings exchanged glances and nodded in agreement. Arthur's proposal was sound, and they trusted his judgment.
With the immediate plans set, Arthur moved on to the next topic. His voice grew more serious as he spoke,
"An incident has occurred at the shores of Darkaros in the continent of Hailzard. Our scouts from Alevion discovered that the border seals have been broken, and massive insect corpses are lying across the battlefield."
King Eustace, his face tense, spoke up,
"This is a significant issue. With the border seals broken, it creates a potential opening for the monsters of Hailzard to invade Alevion."
King Tristan leaned forward, curiosity and concern mingling in his eyes.
"Who could have accomplished such a feat? The insects of Hailzard are formidable foes. This must have been the work of someone or something incredibly powerful."
Arthur shook his head, his expression grim.
"At this time, we have no answers. However, I propose to King Audric that additional troops be sent to bolster the defenses of Emmerich. Your kingdom is closest to Darkaros, and you are most vulnerable to an incursion."
Audric nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation.
"I will gladly accept the reinforcements. We cannot afford to take any chances."
Arthur then announced his intentions. "In the coming days, I will visit each of your kingdoms to discuss future plans and strategies. It is my duty to ensure that we are prepared for whatever may come."
The kings agreed, acknowledging the importance of Arthur's oversight in these uncertain times.
Arthur concluded,
"Once we have more information, I will convene another meeting. Until then, stay vigilant and prepare your kingdoms."
Lemes asked Johnatan what they should name the island now that it's starting to feel like home.
Johnatan, after a moment of thought, suggested,
"Silver Vale."
He explained that the name symbolizes the high value and potential the island holds for them and their future.
With the name settled, Johnatan shifted the conversation to the next task at hand.
"Can we build a high, sturdy, durable, and complex ship?" he asked Lemes.
Lemes, still adjusting to the newfound strength, skills, and gifts they had recently acquired, responded confidently. "With the power we have now, we can definitely do it in a short period of time. We just need a drawn-out plan."
Johnatan nodded, his mind already working. He recalled his past life as a construction worker, where he had often watched his boss, an architect, meticulously drawing out plans. While his experience was basic, the gift he had received allowed him to expand his knowledge and skillset in architecture to its utmost potential.
With a newfound sense of purpose, Johnatan tasked Lemes with gathering tar stones for iron-making.
"I want this ship to be made of metal," Johnatan stated, his voice carrying a sense of determination.
Lemes didn't waste any time. He gathered a group and set off to collect as many tar stones as they could, leaving Johnatan to draw up the plan for the ship.
As Johnatan worked, he felt a sense of satisfaction. The Silver Vale was not just an island; it was a blank canvas for their future. And with every stroke of his pen, he was painting a picture of that future, one that was strong, durable, and ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
Johnatan sat in his tent, deep in thought, when a new idea struck him. He asked the system, "Is there a spell that can conceal an entire island? And what about instant teleportation?"
The system responded promptly,
*"There is, in fact, a high-tier concealment spell called
'Lies of an Empire.'
It's capable of covering an entire island. For teleportation, there's a spell known as
'Domain of Doors,
' which allows the user to teleport to any location they've previously discovered."*
Satisfied with the information, Johnatan decided to bring these powerful spells into play. He called for a meeting with the shamans. Once they had gathered, he asked,
"Do any of you know about concealment barriers or instant teleportation spells?"
The shamans exchanged puzzled looks, then Laron spoke up,
"We've never encountered such magic before."
Johnatan nodded, expecting this. He explained the concepts of
"Lies of an Empire"
and
"Domain of Doors,"
describing how one could shield the entire island from detection, while the other would enable instant travel across long distances.
The shamans listened intently, absorbing the possibilities these spells presented. Johnatan then revealed a guidebook created by the system, containing instructions for mastering these complex spells. He handed the book to Laron, who accepted it with a solemn nod.
"I'm asking you all to study this thoroughly and master these spells as soon as possible," Johnatan requested.
"Once you've learned them, your task will be to conceal Silver Vale and create a network of teleportation points."
The shamans agreed, understanding the importance of these tasks. They dispersed to begin their studies, leaving Johnatan to his thoughts.
Meanwhile, far from the heart of Silver Vale, in the deep waters surrounding the island, something stirred. A mysterious, terrifying giant creature was making its way toward the island, cutting through the waves with silent menace.
