Rivyn stretched, stepping out into the cool breeze of the residential area that washed against his face. Today was not going to be about great or earth-shattering things: no manticores, no floors, no commissions-just a day of catching up on essentials and preparing for the days to come. His mind was lighter today, not as chaotic as it usually was.
First he went to the market. The busy street is filled with shouting vendors, haggling adventurers, and generally a din of conversation. Rivyn pressed through the crowds; people shifted around him, instinctively moving out of his way. His name was known well enough by now to keep his dealings short, as discreet as possible.
His first stop was a seller of rare crafting materials. Rivyn glanced over the goods on display in the case, his eyes settling on several thick steel ingots and purified mana crystals.
"These look all right," he said softly. The seller, a thickset man with a grizzled beard, perked up.
