Chapter 53 - The streets

Rivyn had been fighting the remaining ogres for what felt like hours, each minute stretching as he dodged their relentless attacks. Though he'd successfully taken down one of the massive creatures, the injuries he had sustained while doing so had taken their toll. His movements had grown slower, each swing of his sword a fraction weaker than the last. Rivyn could feel his stamina waning, but he pressed on, determined to face the monstrous adversaries until he could fight no more.
