Chapter 226 - Uncle Kizaru, Don't Worry, I Won't Cheat You This Time

"Marshal! I truly admire you from the bottom of my heart!" Fujitora said, his voice filled with emotion. He had joined the Marine to protect the common people, and in that moment, standing before Finn, he realized that he had made the right choice by aligning himself with this Marine.

"Finn! Your idea is truly admirable!" Sengoku praised, giving Finn a hearty pat on the back.

Crane Vice Admiral, exhaling deeply, added, "Finn, you're absolutely right! We've been under the World Government's control for far too long, and it's started to cloud our thinking. But with a Marshal like you leading us, I believe we'll slowly return to our roots as the passionate Marine we once were."

"Hahaha! You old geezers are nowhere near my grandson's level!" Garp, munching on senbei and watching a movie, chuckled.

"You're impossible! You eat, you sleep, and you pick your boogers! What's wrong with you?" Sengoku scolded, shaking his head.

Everyone laughed at the antics of the two old men.

Once the mood settled, the conversation turned back to serious matters. They began discussing the elimination of pirates.

Suddenly, a system prompt sounded in Finn's mind:

"Ding! Please choose."

"1: The host's first goal, to personally eliminate the Moonlight Pirates! Reward: 6 x 100-fold Evangelism Cards."

"2: The host's first goal, to personally eliminate the Buggy Pirates! Reward: Hearthstone Return Device."

"3: The host's first goal, to personally eliminate the Nine Snake Pirates! Reward: Hearthstone Return Device + 6 x 100-fold Mission Cards."

"F**k? Already another choice?" Finn thought, a little surprised by the prompt.

He eyed the rewards carefully. The 100-fold Evangelism Cards were familiar, and with six more cards, it was guaranteed to produce an Admiral-level powerhouse. However, the Hearthstone Return Device was something new.

"System, what exactly is this Hearthstone Return Device?" Finn asked.

The system quickly explained:

The Hearthstone Return Device was a special item that could be set in a fixed location. As the host, Finn could grant permission for others to use it. Once granted, anyone with permission could condense a hearthstone on the device. Afterward, no matter how far the person was, by hitting their head with the hearthstone, they would instantly be teleported back to the device's location. The device could only be used once every 24 hours, and it was linked to a real-name system, meaning only those Finn granted permission could use it.

After reading the explanation, Finn was excited. For the current Marine, the Hearthstone Return Device was a stroke of genius!

With pirates scattered across the world, Marine would need to spread its forces, and if they weren't careful, the World Government's CP0 Plath team could strike. If a Marine Vice Admiral led a team and encountered multiple CPOs, it could result in disaster.

With the Hearthstone Return Device, Finn knew he had a way to solve this problem.

"Choose 3!" Finn decided without hesitation.

"Ding! Congratulations to the host! Rewards: Hearthstone Return Device + 6 x 100-fold Mission Cards."

As the system notification rang out, the two items appeared in Finn's system space.

Sengoku's voice cut through the moment. "Finn, your plan is sound, but if we go after the pirates, there's something very strange that we need to consider."

"What do you mean?" Finn asked, puzzled.

"If we want to eliminate pirates, we have to spread our forces thin," Sengoku explained. "Each Marine unit has a limited capacity, and if they are split across the four seas, mutual support will be impossible. This puts our forces in a very dangerous position."

Crane Vice Admiral chimed in, "Exactly. If the World Government realizes we're targeting pirates, they won't let the opportunity slip by. They'll likely send in a CP0 Plath team to intercept and neutralize our key combatants!"

Aokiji nodded in agreement, "The Chief Inspector and Crane Vice Admiral are right. This is a serious concern."

Fujitora added, "This is a crucial problem. It could derail our plan entirely!"

Seeing the worried expressions, Finn simply shrugged. "It's not a big problem."

"What? Not a big problem?" Crane Vice Admiral was immediately concerned. "This is a huge issue!"

Finn grinned. "I've got it covered."

Without waiting for a response, Finn summoned the Hearthstone Return Device from his system space.

Bang!

A five-meter-tall, tower-shaped device appeared with a loud thud. Its massive size made everyone step back in shock.

"Marshal, what is this?" Kizaru asked, scratching his chin, clearly intrigued.

"Since you're so interested, why don't we use you as a test subject?" Finn smiled mischievously.

Kizaru froze. "Wait, you want to use me as a test subject? That can't be good!"

Immediately, Kizaru tried to back away.

"Porusalino! Are you disobeying orders?" Sakazuki's stern voice rang out.

"Yes! You'll listen to Finn!" Aokiji added.

"Come on, Kizaru, don't make this harder than it needs to be," Sengoku said with a slight smirk.

Kizaru sighed, his escape plan thwarted. "Fine! I've been unlucky for eight lifetimes."

With reluctance, he stepped forward, only to be grabbed by Senior Lola, who appeared beside him. "Don't worry, Uncle Kizaru, I promise I won't trick you this time!"

Kizaru looked suspicious. "The more you say that, the less I trust you."

"Come on, Polusalino! We have new and old Marshals present today. Are you going to openly defy the orders?" Sakazuki barked.

Reluctantly, Kizaru approached the Hearthstone Return Device. "What are we doing?" he asked, still unsure.

Finn gestured to the balls on the device. "Pick one, and there will be a reward!"

Kizaru, still skeptical, hesitated but was quickly surrounded by the others, who watched with bated breath. Finally, he picked a ball, and as soon as he did, it lit up. His identity was registered, and a hearthstone materialized in front of him with a satisfying thud.
