"Then... what if I send you to Sabo?" Finn asked, his expression calm but firm.
Ace's head shot up, his eyes wide in disbelief. "Sabo? What do you mean? Sabo's dead! He died years ago!" His voice cracked, the pain of old wounds resurfacing.
Finn remained composed. "No, Ace. Sabo is alive."
"Impossible!" Ace shouted, shaking his head vehemently. "I saw the wreckage! The Celestial Dragons blew up his ship. We even found his hat... there's no way—" His voice faltered as his fists clenched.
Finn placed a reassuring hand on Ace's shoulder. "Listen to me. Sabo survived. He was rescued."
Ace froze, hope flickering in his eyes. "Who... who saved him?"
"Monkey D. Dragon," Finn said evenly. "He's with the Revolutionary Army now."
Ace's jaw dropped. "Your father? Are you serious?"
Finn shrugged. "Call it fate, luck, or whatever you like, but it's true. If you don't want to be a Marine, joining the Revolutionary Army is a better option. At least there, you'll be safer."
Ace frowned, skepticism etched on his face. "And how do you know this?"
"Let's just say I have my sources," Finn replied cryptically, a small smirk playing on his lips. "If you don't believe me, I'll prove it to you. We'll find Sabo together."
Ace hesitated, then nodded slowly. "Alright, but how do we find him?"
"Leave that to me," Finn said confidently. "For now, have your crew follow my ship. We'll sail together until we reach him."
Ace's gaze softened as a faint smile appeared. "Fine, brother. Let's find Sabo."
The two returned to the deck of the Spade Pirate Ship. As they prepared to depart, Ace couldn't help but glance at Finn's massive warship.
"Hey, brother," he called out. "Your ship looks amazing. Aren't you going to invite me aboard?"
Finn chuckled, shaking his head. "Not a chance. Your sister-in-law's on board, and you need to respect her space."
Ace raised an eyebrow. "Sister-in-law? You expect me to believe that? With a ship that big, I'd probably never even run into her."
Finn laughed. "Oh, Ace. I'm not talking about just one sister-in-law. There are over two thousand of them."
Ace blinked, stunned. "Two thousand?"
"Yep," Finn said with a wink. "They're everywhere on that ship. Some are even swimming around it. So yeah, you're definitely staying on your own ship."
Ace groaned, shaking his head in disbelief. "Brother, you're unbelievable. Does Makino know about this? She'll kill you if she finds out."
Finn grinned mischievously. "Relax. Sister Makino's on board too."
Ace froze, utterly speechless, before sighing in resignation. "You're too much, brother."
Finn took off, leaping back to his warship. Once aboard, he reclined in a deck chair and took a sip from a drink, the tension of the day melting away.
