The warm hues of the evening sun filtered through the living room window as I sat beside Natsumi. Her eyes were glued to the television screen, completely engrossed in her favorite anime. She was still in her school uniform, though slightly crumpled from a full day of her usual antics.
I was in casual clothes—a loose T-shirt and pajama bottoms—scrolling through my phone while half-listening to the anime's overly dramatic voiceovers. The sound of battles and emotional speeches filled the room.
"Onii-chan, you're not even watching!" Natsumi huffed, glancing at me with a pout.
I smirked, glancing at the screen. "I don't need to watch. I already know what's going to happen. The hero is going to power up and win. Am I wrong?"
Natsumi puffed her cheeks. "That's not the point! You're missing the *feeling*. This is the best part!"
I chuckled, ruffling her hair. "Alright, alright. I'll watch with you next time."
