The cold chamber was silent, save for the faint hum of magic coursing through the room. The crystal box stood in the center, shimmering faintly under the dim, ethereal light that illuminated Ryuzin's solemn face. Inside the glass, her body lay still, naked and preserved, suspended in a serene, almost dreamlike state. Her light hair floated around her, framing a face that was heartbreakingly beautiful, even in slumber.
Ryuzin stood before her, hands in his pockets, a soft smile tugging at his lips. His crimson eyes softened as he gazed at her peaceful expression.
"Hi," he whispered, his voice tender, almost shy. "It's been a while, hasn't it, Shion?"
He reached out, his fingertips brushing against the cool surface of the glass. His smile faltered for a moment, replaced by a flicker of sadness. "It must be really lonely in here. I wonder... can you even hear me?"
