Eons ago, way before the existence of humankind, in the dark abyss of space from the first celestial star came the ten elements of virtuous power:

-The God of Fire: Hwa-Jin

-The Goddess of Water: Hae-Won

-The God of Air: Baram

-The Goddess of Nature: Hwa-Young

 -The God of Earth: Ji-Ho

-The Goddess of Spirits: Mi-Jung

-The God of Time: Si-Woo

-The Goddess of Space: Byeol-I

- The God of Light: Ryung

-The Goddess of Darkness: Hee-Yeon

From the time they were manifested, they had no knowledge of who their creator was or how long they had been alive. The only things they had in this world were their celestial powers and each other. So, they learned of their powers and soon decided to fill the abyss they were abandoned in with new life and the first of this new life were The Earth (Named by Ji-Ho) that was full of life on land, in the ocean and in the skies with the sun bringing daily warmth and the moon bringing nightly chills, with many trees baring food and shelter for all creatures big and small but the most amazing creatures of all were the humans, beings of intelligence, beauty and emotions but due to the diversity of power, the gods each took a group of humans of the same power uses and placed them in different continents to avoid any further conflict between them:

(Note: ALL of the tribes are name-based on actual gemstones that are tide to them by either color or elemental association, feel free to research and comment on anything that was misinformed and yes, I got this idea from steven universe but I'm not basing authority on the gemstones, okay?)

- The Flame Ruby tribe: Worshippers of the God of Fire

-The Lapis Lazuli tribe: Worshippers of the Goddess of Water

- The Emerald Tribe: Worshippers of the God of Earth

- The Jade Tribe: Worshippers of the Goddess of Nature

-The Angelite Tribe: Worshippers of the God of Air

-The Amethyst Tribe: Worshippers of the Goddess of Spirits

-The Diamond Tribe: Worshippers of the God of Time

-The Tektites Tribe: Worshippers of the Goddess of Space

-The Opal Tribe: Worshippers of the God of Light

-The Obsidian Tribe: Worshippers of the Goddess of Darkness

Each of the tribes tended to stay as friendly neighbors as to not to upset their gods and goddesses but there were two who did not abide to this rule or heed the warnings that their elders gave them. They were a beautiful maiden from the Obsidian Tribe and a strong warrior of the Emerald Tribe, and over time, the two powerful mages soon fell in love and decided to tell their elders and ask for blessings from the ones that they worshipped.

But this led to a war between the two tribes, which resulted to a never-ending conflict that in-turn weakened their god's and goddesses' power, preventing them from stopping them so instead of working together, Ji-Ho and Hee-Yeon blamed themselves for this which resulted to their eternal sleep on Jupiter, the biggest of the planets and personal home of the Gods and Goddesses, due to the negative emotion of their people, which left the others devasted that their brother and sister could go through something so heart-breaking. So, they too decided to lay dormant on their home planet as well but that gave the chance for the Ten Sinister Emotions of Power to force their way into the mortal realm that the Ten Virtuous Elements created.
