Kyle knew he needed to attend to business the next morning. He didn't know anything about his agency, but thankfully, the internet provided him with all the information he needed. Kyle discovered that the agency was on the verge of bankruptcy and wondered why he wasn't given a top agency, considering the car-spawning technology at his disposal. He thought to himself, "This thing can spawn cars out of thin air, and yet the agency is struggling to stay afloat. It doesn't make sense."
As he pondered this, a knock on the door brought him back to reality. It was morning already, and there were no calls from Calista. It seemed she wasn't as desperate as he thought, but with the agency, Kyle had another means to get her attention. She knew him as a cashier at a rundown store, so it was no surprise she was losing interest fast. The only thing that caught her attention was the money. Kyle had researched Calista's acting career and watched some of her movies, which were essentially softcore porn with low viewership. He realized how bad they were and understood why she wasn't getting much attention.
As he attended to the door, a few men walked in – renovation experts he had hired to renovate his apartment. He had enough money to cover the costs and had chosen the best professionals for the job. Mr. Jones was surprised by Kyle's sudden wealth, going from struggling to pay rent to affording a car, rent, and renovations. "Kyle, what's going on here?" Mr. Jones asked, eyeing the renovation crew. "I'm just giving my place a bit of a makeover," Kyle replied with a smile.
Kyle left the workers in his apartment and stepped out, where he spotted a surprised Mr. Jones staring at him. "Good morning, Mr. Jones. What can I say, blood money, am I right?" Kyle joked, but Mr. Jones was starting to consider the possibility, unlikely as it seemed. Kyle's joke was a bit of a stretch, but he was trying to lighten the mood. Mr. Jones didn't seem amused, though.
"You're renovating your room?" Jones asked, not hiding his surprise. "That's right, and you don't need to worry about removing it from my rent either," Kyle reassured him. This was his way of thanking Jones for his past kindness and generosity. Kyle had always been grateful to Mr. Jones for being understanding and accommodating, especially when he was struggling to make ends meet.
Just then, a voice greeted Kyle, but he couldn't see the person due to Jones standing in the way. "Clarissa, is that you?" Kyle asked, recognizing the voice. Clarissa peeked from between her father's legs, and Kyle saw the 7-year-old's big smile. Clarissa was Mr. Jones's daughter, and Kyle had grown quite fond of her. She was a precocious child, always full of energy and curiosity.
"Boo!" Clarissa exclaimed, popping out from behind her father's legs. Kyle pretended to be startled, playing along. "You scared me half to death!" he exclaimed, before glancing at Jones, who glared at him. "I mean, you scared me real good!" Kyle corrected himself quickly, mindful of Jones's preference for clean language around his kids. Kyle didn't want to set a bad example for Clarissa, who was still young and impressionable.
As they chatted, Kyle noticed Clarissa's backpack and asked if she was on her way to school. Jones mentioned the bus was taking forever, and Kyle offered to drop her off instead. Jones was hesitant at first but eventually agreed. "Are you sure? I wouldn't want to trouble you," Jones said, but Kyle insisted. He didn't mind taking Clarissa to school, and it would give him a chance to spend some quality time with her.
As they prepared to leave, Mrs. Jones appeared, dressed in a black crop top and leggings, carrying a gym bag. "Good morning, Mrs. Jones..." Kyle greeted, feeling slightly uncomfortable under her gaze. Mrs. Jones had a reputation for her "fuck me" eyes, and Kyle tried to avoid eye contact. He didn't want to give her the wrong idea or make things awkward.
Jones explained the situation to his wife, and she asked if Kyle had room for one more. Kyle gestured for them to lead the way downstairs, trying to maintain his composure. As they headed out, Jones whispered a thank you to Kyle, who joked about slashing his rent. Jones declined, and they shared a laugh.
As they walked to the car, Kyle caught a glimpse of Mrs. Jones's impressive physique, but he quickly reminded himself to keep his cool. He didn't want to make a fool of himself in front of Mr. Jones or his family. Kyle was determined to keep things professional and respectful, no matter how tempting Mrs. Jones might be.
The drive to Clarissa's school was uneventful, but filled with thoughts about Mrs. Jones' toned butt.
"Keep it together, Kyle!" , He cautioned himself as he turned onto the freeway.
