Chapter 4 - Legacy dungeon 03

On the first day of my training, I began cultivating a method that resonated deeply within me—the Primordial Blood Cultivation Technique, a powerful blood inheritance stored within my very being. Triggered by a surge of energy bestowed by my grandmother, the technique awakened a trove of fighting techniques and ancient knowledge in my mind. Yet, I realized that my energy source was not the ambient energy of the world but rather the potent energy flowing through my own blood. This revelation filled me with excitement: my blood wasn't just a vessel; it was a supreme treasure and a generator of strength, activated only through the practice of this sacred technique.

As I diligently practiced, I remained unaware of the deeper secrets of the Primordial Blood Essence, as my grandmother had chosen to keep them hidden. But it was undeniably clear that this essence was key to my potential—a crucial element that hinted it was meant for something extraordinary beyond mere energy production.

Reaching the peak of the Mortal Realm after a decade of intense training, Grandma began to spar with me, showing no mercy in her relentless pursuit to prepare me for the battles ahead. Every clash was not just a test of strength but an opportunity to master the techniques lying dormant within my blood. With each encounter, respect and admiration for her grew within me, for she was both a fierce mentor and a loving guardian. However, her training sessions often descended into chaos as she mercilessly showcased her power, but each defeat taught me invaluable lessons in resilience.

The dungeon we trained in was a labyrinth of floors, each reflecting different cultivation realms. The first ten floors belonged to the Mortal Realm, where I faced off against creatures reminiscent of those in RPG games: goblins, kobolds, minotaurs, orcs, and ogres—all eager to feast on the strength I harboured. Initially hesitant, I channelled the feeling of contempt and rage stirred by their greedy gazes and transformed my uncertainty into a ferocious resolve. I tore through them with my claws—blood and gore no longer fazed me; the thrill of victory ignited a hunger for power.

After conquering the first nine floors, I faced the Ogre—a relentless foe of tremendous vitality and self-regeneration. With every ounce of my being, I fought against this formidable adversary, and the intense battle culminated in my breakthrough into the Earth Realm. Suddenly, the rules of combat shifted; I was granted access to the primordial energy that surged within me, an exhilarating step into a broader world of elemental powers. I could also use the primordial energy in mortal realm but that energy was spent into strengthening my body.

Grandma explained that various spirit roots allowed different races to manipulate basic elements according to their natural affinities—fire, water, earth, wood, metal, ice, lightning, and air. However, as a primordial dragon, I possessed the rare ability to bend nature itself, enabling me to wield all elements without limitation. To advance further in earth realm I had to comprehend every basic element. The Earth Realm breathed new life into my training as I encountered various elemental spirits, each embodying their respective elemental powers. Defeating them honed my comprehension of these elements, pushing me further along my path. The most difficult was the elemental spirit with every basic elemental mastery.

After mastering the basics, I reached the peak of the Earth Realm. My victory against a powerful elemental spirit marked another milestone, solidifying my reputation as a genius in Grandma's eyes—a title that filled me with pride and determination.

Upon gaining entry into the Saint Realm, I stood on the brink of unleashing my true potential: the dragon breath. Although I had been capable of using it in previous realms, Grandma had wisely prohibited it, urging me to mature the organ responsible for breadth by channelling every elemental force into it and to do that I had to comprehend the basic elements. To advance further in saint realm, I had to comprehend advanced elements like light, dark, void, time, and celestial.

The Saint Realm introduced me to intelligent adversaries, humanoid creatures that used advanced elemental powers. Each encounter became a battle not just of strength, but of wits. I had to anticipate their moves, like predicting the lizard man's manipulation of time; I learned to counter their strategies by manipulating or locking time while enhancing my own elemental proficiency. I had to sense where the teleporter monster is teleporting and had to teleport before it or teleport to different place or to tear the fabric of space itself to purse and chase the monster hidden in void. It was a game of perception, as I adjusted to the distorted perception of time inherent in my draconic nature, making the fifty years feel like mere moments.

Now, after conquering the final Saint Realm monster, I find myself at a crossroads. Today is pivotal, for I am not only ready to uncover some secrets from my grandma but also to receive my name—a powerful rite of passage for a primordial dragon.

As I stand before the Dragon temple, I reflect on everything this journey has brought me. The strength I have gained, the bonds I have forged, and the wisdom I have accumulated. My name must embody the essence of my identity and the legacy I aspire to uphold. It is a moment of profound significance, and I am prepared to embrace the power of my name.
