t was dark at night…
Everyone fast asleep, a silent ringing could be heard from houses around the area and with it was glow: of different colors.
The morning broke soon and with it came screams of joy from various house, one of these houses was the home of the Briar's, vassals of the Imperial kingdom of Darkus…
"Woaww... Father come see i awakened a skill" A young lad, 15 years of age with white hair and flame blue pupils calls for his father, pointing to the purple rune on the top of his hand.
"I can't believe my eyes, Zen my boy you've awakened a skill, this is unbelievable the curse on the Briar family has been lifted" The man Identified as father, was a man in his mid 40's with facial features like the boy.
"Armin!." He calls.
Anold butler in his late 40's runs coming out.
"You called for me, my lord
"Where is my wife" The young man asks with so much excitement all over his face.
The butler reading the room understood what was going on and replied, "My lord, the lady is out on a visit to Duke Roswald's territory"
On hearing this the young man sighed and replied, "Ahh... that is true she did inform me, she's off on a diplomatic discussion with the Duchess and other lady's, she won't be back till tomorrow"
The young man scratches his head thinking, "Usually, when children in the domain awaken their skills, Diane is the one who organizes their transportation to the Imperial cities temple for appraisal and registration"
Both the lord and his son couldn't contain their excitement acting like a child, the butler smiled as he said, "my lord seeing as you have an engagement leave the transportation arrangements to me"
On hearing this, the lords eyes shun with so much joy, he rushes to hug the butler and words to his son,
"Zen get ready we're leaving for the imperial city, i have to see my cousin first, oh, that reminds me where's your sister, Tess!!!"
A young girl same age as the boy, newly becoming an adult with white hair steps out in her night wear, scratching her eyes. "hoooaaah"
"Father you called…"
With a slightly high tone, the lord scolded the girl, "Theresa Amber Briar, why are you still in your nightwear, this isn't how a lady of the Brair house should behave.
The young girl broke into tear seeing as her father was mad at her, while still itching her eyes, the butler sighed at the lord and he immediately walked up to the lady patting her head while apologizing.
The young girl attempts to speak and the lord asks why her eyes itch so much, she then speaks with a gentle voice, "I don't know father, it's been itching all through the night, i didn't have any sleep because of it" the lord asks to see.
As the young lady takes her hands off her eyes she reveal her white pupils and a glowing rune of the same color in them, the young lord broke into tears and words... "Is this the revival of house Briar father!!!"
The butler calls for the maids, who take the kids in to prepare them for their journey, while the butler walks up to the young lord who could not contain his excitement.
An hour later, the kids are all ready and the lord too, a guard walks in and tells the lord that he has a visitor, he permits entry as he excuses his children, the guard exits a minute later another person enters the room.
*I greet the lord of the Briar domain, Marquis Loyd" the person words and takes to his knees, the lord waves and walks up to the person as he words.
"Baron Renier, my good friend, how have you been and how is Ismay?" both men exchange pleasantries and then the Baron states his business.
"My lord, to here for children in my small domain who have just recently awakened their abilities, we recorded about 12" Loid cuts him short.
"Twelve is a really high number, for what you call a small domain" Lloyd says as he smiles, he then continues. "I know why you came, you need not ask, Armin will mobilize a transportation means, for those going to the Imperial city, i'll place you in charge of the journey, they leave in two days, I will be heading out today, my twins both awakened a skill, unlike their brother who's at the imperial academy they can have claim to the throne.
The Baron had shock all over his face, "You are going to see the Emperor?" Lloyd nods, both men finish up the conversation and then the Baron leaves.
Lloyd informs Armin of his discussion with Renier and the kids run into a coach, Armins then calls out to Lloyd who was approaching the coach, "My lord, you're going without your guards, where's Carac!!!" Lloyd laughs hard, "Calm down Armin, take it easy on Carac, I gave him an assignment he will return tomorrow when he does, tell him to come, i might not be a sovereign but i am a disciple of the First son of the Blade you have to be up to the level of a master to make me break a sweat"
Armin bumps his head as Lloyd's coach leaves he then words, "My lord this is not a behaviour befitting a noble even though you're the disciple of the blade sovereign, he can be so carefree"
