Chapter 16 - The Journey ( Part 9 )

The unusual sound of birds chirping made them realize that there was something odd in their resting place.

The Miranda bird is a bird that is known to be sacred on this mountain.

Suddenly approached Rico and looked as if there was something unusual.

Rico bent down and tried to stare intently at the bird.

After he saw it..

Brakk..

Rico fell unconscious.

"Ricooo... Why? Wake up, bro.."

They were all shocked and panicked to see Rico who had fainted with fresh blood coming out of his nose.

The bird then left and made a loud sound, as if giving a sign.

Hasan then tried to lift Rico's body and lean him against a tree.

Riki took out mineral water from his bag.

Laras opened the tissue and cleaned the blood coming out of Rico's nose.

While they were focusing on Rico..

Suddenly Tissa screamed as if she saw something scary.

Sure enough..

Tissa saw Alya as if she was possessed.

Alya's eyes were red, and she shook her head, holding her stomach.

"Hungry…. I'm hungry…. Where are my fish and offerings?!"

Alya shouted, breaking the silence in the forest.

Oh my..

They tried to manage the possibility of facing the conditions they were experiencing.

Hasan grabbed Alya's hand and asked Tissa to hug him, worried that Alya would suddenly run away and become unconscious.

"Tissa hug Alya's body from behind so I can read a prayer,"

Hasan said and moved the bottle to take the drink that was in Alya's bag.

Hasan began to open the water bottle and began to read a prayer into the drinking water.

His eyes were closed and his mouth was mumbling.

After he finished praying, he sprayed the water onto Alya's face.

He rubbed it slowly while whispering.

"Go away, you can't enter my friend's body. Go away or I'll report you to Ki Jaka,"

Hasan said as if threatening the figure that possessed Alya's body.

Alya then looked at Hasan, her gaze seemed to imply great anger.

Not long after that, her hands tried to strangle Hasan's neck.

"Who are you? You shameless little kid, what do you know about Ki Jaka"

"I'm not afraid of anyone here"

"I'm just waiting for the show that has been promised to me"

Alya's eyes were still wide-eyed, staring at Hasan with anger and emotion.

Tissa tried her best to release the grip of the figure that possessed Alya.

The more Tissa pulled, the greater the force she caused.

Not long after that Tissa was thrown and fell between rocks and soil full of dry leaves.

Alya was still gripping Hasan's neck with full strength.

"Go away! Sriwulan panengsih! You are cursed, you are despicable, Ki Jaka will be furious that you have disturbed humans and possessed them"

Rico shouted who was half conscious from his fainting.

Keenan tried to carry Rico towards Hasan.

Everyone was interested in seeing Alya who was getting scarier.

"Gosh.. Alya realized you Alya. You have mastered this evil figure. Pray you, Alya"

"I know you realize it"

Said Rengga who was scared to see Alya coming to him.

Rico tried to look around the forest, trying to find Ki Jaka.

Riki, Rengga, and Tissa tried to hold back Alya, who was trying to attack Hasan again.

When they held Alya's body out of strength, how surprised they were by what the short figure announced to them all.

"Haha haha haha (scary laugh)"

"You all are stupid, fooled by your friend"

They all imagined being silent while hearing the figure's words.

"Your friend is targeted by all creatures here"

"Because she is carrying a fetus in her stomach"

"And this is the reason we want to take her to the Forbidden Forest"

"The smell of blood in her womb is so fresh"

Said the figure, sticking its tongue out and rubbing Alya's stomach.

OH MY GOD…

Laras was shocked, she could only collapse weakly hearing it all.

Just when she first discussed this departure, Alya only thought about it and seemed to have many thoughts in her head.

It turned out that she had been hiding it all this time.

She was pregnant.

Alya, I didn't imagine all this, Al.

Laras began to shed tears, not because she was disappointed but because of Alya's pity that she could only keep all this to herself without telling anyone.

Tissa began to cry and did not expect to have to hear all this.

"You can't bother my friend, she has to leave here."

Keenan said shouting at the figure.

After Rico looked for Ki Jaka's whereabouts.

Finally, Rico came in a hurry, as if bringing someone important to them.

"Ki Jaka, I beg you to remove that evil figure from Alya's body"

Rico who at that time did not know that Alya was pregnant.

Ki Jaka and Rico, with great strength, tried to remove the figure.

And not long after the figure was successfully removed by Ki Jaka.

Ki Jaka just left carrying the figure without giving any message to Rico.

It seemed to be a sign of something, which was the reason why Alya was not allowed to continue climbing this mountain.

Alya was unconscious in Tissa's arms.

Keenan, Hasan, Riki, and Rengga tried to tell Rico about what happened to Alya.

Hasan pulled Rico back from the women who were trying to wake Alya up.

With mixed feelings.

Hasan explained everything to Rico.

"I understand why Ki Jaka strictly forbade Alya from continuing her climb to the top"

"Besides, she will experience even more disturbances"

"There are fatal and more dangerous things that we have to go through"

Hasan pondered for a moment digesting what he was going to say.

"When you said there was a figure targeting Alya from Post 1"

"That's true, but not because among the girls who were menstruating"

"Instead... there was someone pregnant, namely Alya"

Rico was shocked and did not expect everything Hasan said.

"It's true that catching me was very bad when I first climbed Srinjani"

Not long after they spoke The sound of the Miranda Bird chirping very loudly.

Some of the birds began to approach them.

Hasan and Rico approached the others while waiting for Alya to regain consciousness and wake up.

Laras, who was just daydreaming and still shocked to hear the fact that Alya was pregnant, collapsed weakly with a sad face.
