I had just laid there waiting. My arms and legs are aching. I laid there till I slept. I had laid there for hours. I waited for someone, anyone. Why does it always have to be me?
I sat in the green grass and the leaves tickled my skin. My shorts were ripped and so were my clothes as I leaned against a tree as I held my arm. I looked around, not a person to be found. The only thing around me were trees. Trees for miles. Trees for days. How do I get out?
I'm lost and I left my phone on the charger on my nightstand. I'm such an idiot. Why would I go running out here alone?
"Why do I do this to myself? Why did I go out here? Idiot." I muttered, squeezing my wrist painfully. Holding the tears from falling down my face as I walked aimlessly. Through the grass. The leaves. Sticks poking my feet as my sandals were nowhere to be found. I kept walking and walking and walking and walking. For hours it seemed as I looked for anyone. Maybe even anything. I just want to get out of this forsaken place. This forest. I don't know what to do anymore.
